The recent season was quite significant both for players and the development team: for the first time, CVs participated in the season on equal terms with other classes. We thank everyone for participation and feedback. Despite some challenges, the season was very important for the determination of upcoming seasons and changes. Let’s see in detail the season’s results and tell what happens next.

How about having CB with t9 ships till you fix the cvs, ships like JB and Musashi can be excluded. who in his right mind will pick a dd?  just keep making the same mistakes...

So instead of having a season in t10 where the aa is weak, we will have a season with no aa...

How about making a game called World of Carries, where the whole gameplay is based around CVs striking bots in PvE or PvP missions where who destroys the bots faster wins? The actual CV gameplay already feels like a boring minigame inside the main game which only main target is to annoy the surface ships playerbase, seeing how they have no concrete way of counterplaying them.

 

Think about it, there are no losers with this solution. Surface ship players won't feel bad about your incapability of making CVs a fun experience anymore, new players won't ask themselves why they have to play and invest into a game where there are pigeons designed to send them to port and those CV players that still manage to never get bored to hell playing them will feel even more accomplishment in downing ships that can't do anything about them.

 

Also a new game means new possibilities of making money..

How many times does the community have to say no to cvs in cb! The huge thread in the forum earlier by 0M40, the cross server cv boycot, and your still trying to force it down our throats. You would think you would maybe take some hints from any other tournament, like kots, where they have  not added Cvs. The only reason venezia was chosen is because it can actually deal with cvs, and has the ability to push, thats it, not because its OP.

Excellent changes and suggested changes across the board.

I think the suggested changes to half the air detectability and in turn make the AA activation decay to be 20 sec is an excellent step towards giving destroyers a better time vs CVs.

Weather seems to be another good idea to limit CV spotting.

And I'm so dam happy that the next season will be tier 6.

Overall, bravo WG, you guys seems to be on the right track.

 

The only thing i'm quiet dissappointed is that the short, 2 week warning before the next season...

this is just not the way if you want to have a "test" season, have a propper test season with noticeable changes, this is just the same crap, no incentive what so ever to play the next season...

Well @Sehales WG still have not learned anything from what the playerbase have told them that we dont want CVs in CBs and WG are just going down that road and say stuff the playerbase great job WG

Decreasing destroyers' detectability range by half will only make a meaningful difference if the notification that cv planes have been spotted gets removed.

 

 

And please stick to the plan of not having different rulesets for random/ranked on one hand and clan battles on the other.

Feedback is important, they need to check what they should never do, whatever the players recomend is something never to be implemented :D

 

Next time we should make posts about the need of a nerf for German ships & the desperate need for buff of the carriers.

Season X could be called Pearl Harbor , we might even see USS Arizona sunk by IJN dive bombers and torpedo bombers.

Yes and on a tier where AA is significantly less a factor. But why care you know what this will be? Another Smokefiesta with nothing to prevent it from happening..... 

I will not go on a rant but i dislike the proposed DD AA Mechanics changes because it will effectively mandate a smoke useage to not be lit for 20 seconds extra.... 

I dislike that we have to play guineapigs on ships that are so significantly worse balanced.... there are many premiums on that tier that just outright make other ships obsolete and yeah CVs on Tier 6 will not have a support role but i guess you have to see that to figure out why.

 

And indeed reading quikrs post sums it up, you are trying for one and a half year and it got so much worse in this time.

Starting in the center and the moving to a flank at 21 knots... just getting to a flank will take 20 minutes?
