PSA: Fix for problems with opening Dockyard

Just getting the WG spinning wheel of death, nothing showing other than the X in the top right corner. Can exit back to port and re-enter still nothing so I actually haven't seen anything (supposedly a skippable video?) I will assume i'll be missing out on things with this issue?

Seems like you are facing some kind of visibility bug, that you can't see any camos. Please try to create a ticket on Customer Support, place those screenshot there and don't forget about WGCheck. Thank you

So several questions on you. Have you tried to apply this patch?

If yes, mayby try those workarounds some players mentioned here in this thread.

this patch should be applied server wide for everyone, without having to visit the forums to find a fix for the problem.

Nice, after 4 days i could finally open WoWs internet page and see dockyard and armory in the game. Everything people said to me by fixing your firewall, game center .. and so on. Now all games updating, but still missed so much like my husband, i been thinking quitting playing cos so much i have lost already... But again, nice that you got fixed all :)

I have read through the thread on how to go about 'fixing' it, but the problem still remains, I have also tried other paths suggested by members of the committee as a way to go, but unfortunately I am left on box one, which means I don't have access to dockyard. Would also like to mention that in this case it applies to Windows 10-64. In my Mac, I have no problem at all and have not had a need to use the patch, in any way. What happens is that it loads the page ... but that's all. However, is surprised that WG releases an update that shows flaws, this is not the first time that one has to "release" a patch to possibly make it work, and for some it seems to work for others not at all ... so continue follows, but in what way?

Check and repair and maybe try also check for additional software.

 

And maybe last try:

Tried absolutely everything you suggested, player support via tickets also suggested same and similar - nothing worked.

 

However - advance to stage 1 by playing the game and hey presto the dockyard suddenly works, although now I can't purchase the starter pack.

 

So, after four days of asking for help in three different areas, four days of not playing, I gave up and played the game.

 

WG deprived themselves of the 8000 additional dobloons in the dockyard, and also of future sales. You have had two dockyard events, both of which I could not participate in.

How can I download and copy the patch on the game folders? I've downloaded WOWS on my computer via Microsoft store, and the game folders are on a hided folder, so I cannot access the game folders

Ok, here is some semi-constructive feedback on this issue.

 

I was just notified, in the game,that I had completed a stage in the Dockyard, and I was prompted to go there. This got me the birds-eye view of the dockyard, with the little spinning loading wheel. It continued to spin, and spin, and spin. I could not exit, since there was no exit button.

 

I looked up this forum topic, and read through a number of alternative fixes that

a) require me to perform some computer-fu stuff which is quite frankly a bit above the level of complexity that I am comfortable with, and

b) are not, from what I could gather from the various posts, guaranteed to work.

 

First we had the Puerto Rico incident, which could perhaps most charitably be described as an embarrassing moral hiccup on the part of Wargaming, and now we have this new Dockyard event that instead seems to disrupt the technical functionality of the game.

 

I am beginning to develop a Dockyard problem.

 

As of now, I've tried the suggestion of Alt-tabbing my way on and off the game screen, and whether it was this operation or just the universe taking pity on me I can't say, but the wheel stopped spinning and I got out of the dockyard. Whether or not I will ever dare to go back in, is currently an open question.

 

I have of course no way of knowing what is on Wargaming's current to do-list. But I would suggest that some priority is put on fixing this issue. Getting stuck in the Wheel of Time while on a visit to the docklands, is not an experience that begs for repetition.

New patch downloaded today, dockyard interface not loading at first open

 

 

Stage done, prompted to visit dockyard

Shipbuildanimation loaded interface did not

Waited several minutes

Pressed ESC key

Interface blipped into view right before returning to port but vanished as soon as i entered port screen

clicked on dockyard again, interface was working showing collect reward popup screen

stage 7 suspiciously looks a lot like a finished Oland 

Dockyard interface loaded over normal port

any update on this for 2021, crashing loading into ship yard, and iam running the hisen missions, if i complete them do i still get ship even if cannot open yard?  crash only started after the new year patch, will this old fix file still work?

Please try that changing "auto" into "false" in hardwareAcceleration in engine_config.

You can find this in your installation files of the warships game.

By default:

C:/Games/WorldofWarships/

And then the engine_config file.

Send me a pm if you need help.

Open the file with notepad and change whats described above.

I BELIEVE (disclaimer) They can see your mission progress and give you Hizen afterwards if really needed.

Yes, you can redeem all your rewards in the dockyard.

Actually if you are logged in to the portal, try to reach page https://dockyard.worldofwarships.eu/

there you can check your dockyard from your browser...
