PSA: Fix for problems with opening Dockyard

It dosn't seems so. Just ran a "Verify integrity of game files" on Steam --- two files failed and got re-downloaded.

Then launched the game, dockyard still not loading, and I have to kill the app thus I'm unable to return to the port while the dockyard are loading.

I'm really not in the mood to fiddle with random do-it-yourself patches so I'll just wait until an official fix are rolledout.

Morning, applied patch. Can now get into dockyard but only have the image, nothing clickable, no option to purchase starter pack. 

 

I'm close to finishing some directives through normal play, can you have it fixed so the dockyard works so I do not miss out. Again !

A very big thank for this fix. Tried it and it worked first time, Now I can see what happening in the dockyard and see that the ships being built as I progess

Try to run the ingegrity check and in the meantime you can try to use https://dockyard.worldofwarships.eu/ to purchase the starter pack if you want to.

Strange, as those issues were happening before using this fix. So you still have the same even after applying the fix?

Can you please try it again? (Reverse the changes pressing 2 in the apply-patch, delete the folder and unzip it again there and run it again)

Still haven't been able to get onto the dockyard, tried and done all stress shown to no avail. I've even tried reinstalling. Is there going to be an official fix?

Still not working.

 

Also tried Dockyard direct purchase, no way to link to my account that I can see, I've already got the dobloons on my account.

I am a steam user, how about releasing a patch for all,rather than STUPID hotfix. WG does not care about steam users? This patch doesnt work for me. They make me angry really,WG support=0

OK, so this is funny .

 

Here is what I did :

 

1) extracted patchfolder to 2591463

2) applied patch, option 1

3) restarted Game, Dockyard did not open

4) closed Game

5) copied patchfolder into 2571457

6) tried to apply patch in 2571457, was not possible ( "You have already applied the patch!" )

7) went back into 2591463, ran patch again using option 2 ( "Cancel changes" ) ;

8) went back into 2571457, tried to apply patch again . Again was not possible due to DosBox :"You have already applied the patch!"  ;

9) went back into 2591463, tried to apply patch again, also was not possible due to DosBox : "You have already applied the patch!" ;

10) started Game again ; Dockyard now opens .

Have you also tried to delete that folder and unzip it again?

 

If yes, I don't know, what can help you. Maybe:

Check and repair and maybe try also check for additional software.

 

And maybe last try:

different.jpg

Try different game client, maybe.

 

Btw, have you tried the link: https://dockyard.worldofwarships.eu/ ? Just be sure to be logged in portal before clicking to this.

Don't ask me why but all I need to do is open dockyard (spinning wheel for eternity), Alt+Tab to desktop, then Alt+Tab into game and it loads instantly.

Pretty strong features  :Smile_medal:

Like many people in our clan including myself we face this eternal spinning wheel 'feature' in the dockyard. 

It's quite annoying to say the least, and I don't feel like playing with a manual patch that does not really work it seems.

First i had problem with my internet provider (telia finland) and the WG sites. After i changed internet provider i got the game working and in the game i notised that dockyard and armory dont work. I sdaw this conversation in wows discord but when i tried to connect to this site the site just game me some text in the left part of the screen so i could not fix the dockyard and I had to re install the game

If you really feel like laughing do what I did and create a support ticket.. you will get a semi automated vague  no help what so ever reply showing you how much they do not care.

And two screenshots below shows how  my team members ships look like in the battle.Question still the same-do we need to care about camo or in a new update we are not using them at all?

yet another balls up by wg, do you not pay your slaves enough to make updates that work? I play a game I expect it to work all we get from wg is poor workpersonship and even more poor excuses.

Ok guys,found solution that works,at least for me. Select "show time" in bottom right corner,next to "í". If you now go to docks,move ur cursor over there and click on time and on "i". in 2-3 secs docks will work. Save ur time,sending tickets to WG,as they will copy paste - check integrity" ---soluton for everything by WG. Their player support is BOT autoresponce set. I know it,becuse they DONT EVER read what you write. I wrote them,that I am a steam user,but they will post a link for thier stupid hotfix... Each time I sned ticket,same. So I would not bother with them. Try my solution,hope it works. Oh,I didnt apply any of thier crap!
