I really want more camouflage options - even if paying for them

So I became fed up being pounded and instakilled with Königsberg (doing German Navy, exclusively, will not do anything else yet) so I went for Graf Spee paying up a fair amount of doublons. Then I saw the War Camo available - National Admiral Graf Spee - and hit the pay button again. It looks awesome, ticks all the right boxes for me. Want it for ALL my German vessels. Where do I get it? Wait, I can't get it? Why not?

 

 

It's awesome. I am willing to pay. WG people, are you listening?

Agreed, I would throw some change at WG for some cool camo with the same bonuses as some premiums. (Not a big fan of the camo on Riga but the bonuses are nice)

Not sure why weegee hasnt made loads of camos for all ships yet (as in camos you can put on most if not all ships or maybe some camos only being avaliable for certain ships classes if they are too complex or big for certain ships).

I mean loike miss georgia, but she a bit boring with dat drab camo she has atm. Want something more vibrant.

Visuals for money is a great way to profit for a f2p game.. and keep developing the game without worrying about the money. 

I'm all for it.. just let people to buy any visual for any amount..

Guild Wars 2 has worked on this premise very nicely for nearly a decade and still going strong. Everything else is free or stuff you can buy out of convenience, or game expansions.

Agreed. I would've bought more permanent camouflages if they'd look considerably better than the Type 15 - Type 20 camouflages. The current Type 15 - Type 20 camouflages looks pretty boring, and pretty much the only reason to buy them is for the stat bonuses. 

 

I did buy a few perma camouflages, like those on the French destroyers and the British heavy cruisers because they actually look good. Wouldn't have bought them if they were as bad as the Type 15 - Type 20 camos.

Well, not only visuals, you do get some buffs with it as well... 

 

• Detectability range by sea: - 3%
• Dispersion of shells fired by enemies attacking your ship:  + 4%
• Cost of the ship's post-battle service: - 10%
• Credits per battle: + 35%
• XP per battle: + 100%

 

Sure you can get that in other ways, and add signals to it for more.

I would like for all the tier 6 and above permacamos to receive the tier 10 permacamo stats. Also for the option to upgrade the current permacamo to tier 10 stats.

 

Ex: I have the North Carolina and i bought the current permacamo for it, 3000 gold. For the difference of 2000 gold I would upgrade it to the tier 10 stats.

I would love the have some more camo’s available,. Especially the ones no longer available. For example, the white Victorian camo for U.K. camo’s is still available next to the regular ones. I would love to have the special event camo for the Italian cruisers ( love the simple blue grey) and EU dd to be permanently available too as a buy option.
 

Although regarding to the usefulness of the lower permanent camo’s...the 50% xp and -10% cost don’t really cut it against all the heavy single use camo’s that I have in stock..

IMO another great, may be the best example is Path of Exile.. 

you can buy crap load of things in there.. 

either visual, or quality of life things like new chest slots, etc etc.. 

and the game is one of THE most successful f2p games of this century.

Camo options are pretty lame in this game for the most part. So lame I'd rather run naked in most cases. Hope I didn't just earn meself a new nickname...

Permanent camo’s have already received a stat bonus. I remember the initial T6 had only a paltry 30% xp bonus that only 2 years ago changed to 50% and a small discount of 10% in costs. Which at low tiers is not that much of a saving. But on the other hand..when I started wows a 100% Xp bonus camo was big. Now we have camo’s that either give up to 700% bonus on one type of xp or several hundreds on all 3 xp types.

 

But still Permanent camo is just becoming less valuable each year. That’s why WG gives it away so easy. And atleast one time a year they give a 50% discount on them ( exemption: not the tier x, but after the Moskwa thing I am hesitant to buy any). And before the option of not making visually the crazy camo’s I even thought about buying the more regular camo, now i happy use strange event perm camo’s, disable their looks and just play them. For example the 4/5? Xmas t8 camo’s they came with the PR grind. Ugly as f*ck But fine with the visual limiter activated.

They could have made the Xmas camo horn laughter a lot louder. Imagine the lost trolling opportunity after you sink someone.

Nah, I hate that game. Stuff is way overpriced in there. I don't mind to pay for customisation but paying the same amount of money for a skin of a sword as for a full game is bs, even for a f2p game.
