10k coal Value - 0. Literally nothing. No value.

Imagine someone who gets paid a really bad wage of 7.50 an hour. Multiply that wage by the number of hours it would take them to grind 18 stages. Add onto that the fact the game just isn't ''fun'' to play atm.

What you end up with is an EXTREMELY OVERPRICED yet underpowered Odin (IF you let WG steal your money). A Graf Spee everyone got for free and less effort, 10k! coal (WOW) and a few other terrible rewards with 0 value.

As an ''event''. This is a joke :Smile_sceptic:

Why would you count a wage to number of hours spent playing a game (unless you are paid for playing the game)? Or you are trying to calculate the economic model of customer dilemma to either work to get money or spend free time, based on the value you theoretically would be able to get, if you decide to exchange your free time spend playing the game for hours spend working?

This really looks like an event made only for players who dont have the Graf Spee. The Odin is looking weak compared to the other premium German BBs like Tirpitz or Scharnhorst , and that 2 ship not only better, its cheaper too and also they were REAL WW2 ships.

Maybe if the Graf Spee would be refunded in doublons and not credits, or the Odin would have T8 and not T5-6 level HP  things would have been different.... this way its a pass for me.

Hope Dockyard 3.0 if you even make one will be a decent event, as the Original Dockyard was a disaster and the 2.0 is a wasted oportunity.

I have to say I don't think this is terrible - WG learned from the PR Grind and have been a lot more up front with this one.

Reward for playing pretty much as normal some free stuff and possibly a free T6 ship (and yes I do already own Graf spee)  Grind a bit more and if you like pay 3500 dubs for a T8 premium*

It may or may not be a port queen but you get to decide IF you want to purchase it.

Bottom line the Shipyard event is a BONUS not an entitlement - by all means kick WG when deserved but this is not terrible and shows that they can improve.....V3 might be even very good?

*the subjective value vs the utility of the ship is debateable - your mileage may vary

Maybe he is Trying to Replicate your Funny Internal Value Calculation for how much Reward you are allowed to Give out per Hour of Grind you Demand from the Player ? ^^

As I replied you in another thread:

Před 32 minutami YabbaCoe řekl/a:

You have in mind, that you completed Dockyard phases for doubloons, correct? Because now, for every phase received via Directives (you can find them after clicking on "klar zum gefecht" in red field in your port of finding Dockyard section in your mission tab) you will get automatically 250 steel. But in order to get those, you need to finish those missions, that are part of Directives.

It's a way of personalising the cost per player for playing. Whether at work, hobbies or spending time with the kids. Time is literally the most valuable thing we have.

The question becomes is the game good/fun enough to warrant the time/cost sink.

For me an hour is worth somewhere between £10-£20.

Am i willing to pay for your game (it's unplayable for free), then spend that hour or more playing an unbalanced, sometimes stressful game designed to nickle and dime me for every penny? Is that worth £10-£20 per hour to me? Or would it be more valuable to me if i played something where the devs care about the playerbase?

It's a value equation...

Is there a reason why was the t5 kotvosky not given to us when the t5 kirov moved to a premium....  we now have to grind the xp for the t5 again ?  I know its not much xp but still surely it should have been just given as we already grinded xp for the t5

Same go for the Tier 10 if you had Moskva .. but there the added grind is 242.000 exp.

And how much cash did You spend buying doublons?

Yes,Im new one here,I played only 500 battles, but playing without any Premium Account, without doublons and it means without any modyfiers I can get for doublos I think I stuck with my Bismarck forever on the same level....because after every battle Bismarck costs me around 75 000 credits. And very often after every battle I'm going minus from 5000 to 40000 credits.Yes,may be something is wrong with me,may be I have no clue how to play, but with Premium account after every battle I would be plus minimum 25000 credits.

So,when the guy is saying that  it's unplayable for free  he is totally right.

None.

The only money I spent on the game was about 0.8 Euro on buying the one token that was necessary to complete the Cossack grind. I figured it was christmas and wanted to find out how paysafecards work, so treated myself to a gift.

You might have more luck dropping down a couple of tiers, T6 ships have much less upkeep cost after battles and they can be used in Ops which usually give a decent return for the money (recent 'balancing' nerfs notwithstanding); T5 ships are cheap to run as well, although the lower you go the less credit-making potential there is. If it's just money you want then you might like to give them a go, non-premium T8s and higher can cost an awful lot to run as you've seen!

I guess You are right 100%.But...I doubt that after Tier8 I will enjoy playing Tier 6 or 5.Sounds stupid? What I can say...but...Im in love with my Bismarck despite its shells dispersion at 22-24 km range is making me mad.

Try the Ops, they're a rather different (and I'd personally say much more interesting) experience compared to Random. Plus there's plenty of fun T5/6 ships: if you like torps and dodgy dispersion with big guns on a German ship you might give Graf Spee a try once you unlock her from the Dockyard, if you don't have her already ;) Or if you have a look at this thread there are some good suggestions:

No Doubloons for duplicated premium ships, hmmm.  Is that a change in stance?  One I will remember when thinking of purchasing premium ships, and looking at packs or ships for easier grinds.  Not that my wallet has opened since Pay-to-Rico.
