could not load system ressources

Hi guys

Today I received my new computer, I was quite happy. But I can't play world of warships.

I keep having the game crashing, I don't know why.

Sometimes, the game crashes just after launching, I see some weird pixellation of various colour then back to desktop with the message "Could not load system ressources. Please check and repair the game client."

Most of the time, it crashes during the battle loading screen, where everything freezes, except the mouse pointer. I'm now banned from battles for repeated afk. because of the client crashing..

I even had several blue screens after the crash with a "video schedule internal error".

I obvisouly did check and repair the client, it didn't work. I also uninstalled everything and reinstalled, it didn't solve the issue. First thing I tried was playing without any mods, it didn't work neither.

My computer is a Alienware m17R2 laptop and I have a NVidia GeForce RTX 2070 with Max- Q design.

My computer is brand new, and the game was working on my old one with no issues...

I updated my drivers, didn't work. I even roll back to the first driver of my card, it didn't work.

I don't know what to do.

Did anyone here have the same issue and know what I should do?

Thank you for your time.

This certainly does not sound like a WoWs problem. You should check your drivers (like all of them, chipset, cpu, gpu, everything, possible bios update), update windows (new major functions update started to roll out yesterday), run hardware diagnostic apps. Google the "video schedule internal error" and you'll find a lot of useful tips on how to fix it.

Could you please tell me how I check my drivers for chipset cpu and so on?

i did update my graphic drivers with GeForce experience but I don't know how to check other drivers.

Thank you so much.

Don't mess with your pc further.

You may break something.

But...

The prob is in the game client prob, meaning some setting needs tweaking or are incompatible that don't mean broken , run a search for yr sound or graph card see if people have probs with it. It's too early in the morning for me to think of a solution, have you installed everything on yr pc? Did it come preinstalled? Have they put a program in (antivirus etc) that causes interference? Does yr windows have automatic updates on? Sound/graph card probs (drivers) causes blue screens but also newer rigs, suffer from windows putting stuff in all the time.

Sometimes an older driver OR a specific driver is needed to run stuff.

You may have to go back several updates to find the one that works BUT I wouldn't do that if you don't know what you are doing.

PS I had half a coffee.

Is yr laptop running an on board graph card? It may conflict.

Stop using mods.

What is an "on board graph card"?

I have like i said the Nvidia RTX 2070 with Max-Q design (that's what is said when I run dxdiag)

The PC indeed come prepared, I just updated windows 10 (by using search for update), and I installed the latest driver for my graphic card.

It's an alienware, so it came with the built-in SupportAssist app, which I ran to do some stress tests and hardware checking.

Everything is fine and up to date...

This is a fine laptop. It should play the game wit no problem. If nothing was fooked up on the initial install from the techs then it should run it. I can't think of why it wouldn't. Have you checked yr firewall?

Have u run any other game on it?

Turn off your antivirus software and then try, also try running the game as administrator

then you should probably wait for sometime

In the meanwhile , you can restart your computer in safemode with networking on and do a clean install . This fixes majority of issues tbh . I do this with every other AAA title whenever I face installation or crash issues .

Also , did you try installing the game using same setup files on some other computer ? See if it works there if it works then the issue is with your laptop and not game client ?

Thanks for the advice, I am reinstalling the game again right now, if it doesn't solve the issue I will redo it in safe mode.

Download a gpu benchmark to test your gpu, something like unigine heaven

If you can run this with no problems try a cpu benchmark.

if this is ok, try a ram test.

These are just to rule out any hardware problems that may be present.

I remember people having that very issue some months ago, and there was some hotfix for nvidia driver problems at the manufacturer's website.

send me ur laptop and i make it run wow .. ^^

dell computers can be tricky because of slight driver variations ..

but this is prob not a driver prob as such .. some software/dell bundles can really mess up ones system .. of course i would do a complete re-install with drivers only - but that does take some skill and should not be committed ...

try run wow in safemode - if still crashing goto windows management and look at windows software report and see what crashed warships .. if nvidia related .. well

if intel related it could be something with speedstep, hibernation file or even swapfile ..

i love dell computers but they can be tricky .. hope u find a solution ...

I found a similar topic with a player  experiencing the same, but I had the image sharpening off. so I don't know

https://forum.worldofwarships.com/topic/211651-could-not-load-system-resources/

Here is a screenshot of the "weird pixellation" I was talking about that happens before the crash sometimes, before the "could not load system ressource" message appears.

I didn't have such a problem with other games. Only world of warships.

No, I listen to my own music anyway, so game sounds are mostly irrelevant to me :Smile_bajan2:

Stop using mods.

It's silly advice, becouse i am using for 3 years all kinds of mods, having now at least 20, and only sometimes i have temporary problems. Do you think that my or others modders code is worse then WG workers ? And as game is tested, mods are tested too. If they are faulty, then WG just delete such mod from officialy approved.
