Chat window at score screen

Hello,

 

i just started to play this game and it is really fun, actually i have played 2 games i believe during the beta maybe 5 or 6 years ago and at that time didn't think much of it and totally forgot about it, even my gamertag is an older gamertag i used before, anyways the reason i post is because at the end of the game you have no chat window to congratulate the winners and comfort the losers (yeah riiight) or even to just discuss the battle. 

I've had some pretty decent battles lately in tier VI where the games were pretty close till the end (apart from one where in the end i was alone against 10 enemy ships), i was using the in game chat but then the game ends abruptly and you can't use it anymore. 

Maybe this was already discussed and i am sorry if i am breaking the forum rules.

I am under the impression that there was a function in the Team Score screen to chat to a player directly. This, however, is not possible nowadays. I assume the reason is to not make it too easy for the frustrated to verbally abuse others.

If you want to write to someone from the battle, go to Team Score, right-click the player and choose "add to contacts". Afterleaving the battle and returning to your port you can start a conversation by selecting the player from your contacts list.

A PSA style message to everybody is not possible.

Thanks for the reply, i thought the same about possibly the abuse in the chat,  i will have to check the right-click thing after the battle.

The game skips the result screen entirely often enough, so maybe this should be fixed first.

I've been playing for almost 5 years, and this happened to me today. I told the man '' don't shoot me (from our team) he reported me and they banned my chat. if you continue to ban people like that I think I will ask you to give me back the money I invested in the game, it's really a shame and a disgrace, this never happened to me.

Who are you actually talking/writing to? Who do you think is reading this? if you need your ban to be discussed you have to go through Customer Support and create a ticket. Be ready to prove to them that you were banned for unjustified reasons (replay file).

As a clarity.  I have reported a player for their over the top abusive assault on another player, and the languages used.  A ticket submission.  The person responded with what appeared to be the standard response to it.  Thanking me for the contribution.  I did not pay any attention to it.

Next day when I logged in to play.  I found out that I was chat banned as a result.

Now, I have not participated in any of their dialogue. Just the screen shot for evidence, and the replay file with the time stamp.

 

The following day, I was no longer chat banned.  There isn't another way to explain why I was chat banned also.

I believe that there could be human error involved in such things. 

 

So during such process (ticket handling), mistakes could happen.  I can accept that. 

What I prefer not to accept is forcing the player to play Coop only ( X amount of games), when the player experiences PC crashes, and/or game crashes.  Basically, out of players choice/action.

if you are going to pm me with insults (i presume they were insults) , at least make them readable  No wonder you keep getting chat banned.

I was forced to play 10 coop games because of 2 consecutive crashes in battle loading screen. The first got me pink, the second sealed the deal.

But how could the game make a difference between crashes and real afkers?
