Can I get my coal back

I bought the thunderer and to me it’s a piece of crap, is there a way I can get my coal back?

Maybe it's you not the ship. Everyone i know consideres Thunderer as strong.

It has one of the most accurate guns in the game with decent pen. You probably just have to get use to it more.

i am so glaad i didnt buy flint or black as steel ships. but i will spend coal on them when they get back for sure!

Thunderer is strong (atleast according to stats). Last ranked season and several random battles have shown me otherwise.

Potatoes pick the Thunderer cause everyone calls it strong ship and totally missplays here.

 

Yesterday in random me and my div. mate came across into triple Thunderer division on the enemy side, it was a 5 BB match. Mate told be in the loadin screen that this is gonna be an easy win and he was not wrong. Those 3 Thunderers were the last enemy ships afloat and they headed to the map border like a row of ducks.

 

Thunderer is as strong as the player control it. (as are all ships.)

Do remember that its not a Conqueror and has far more accurate guns. Adjust your playstyle.

So you like the Conquerer and doing well with it but you hate the Thunderer, which is a supercharged Conquerer on steroids. Dude, you played one game in Thunderer and come out with such a statement.

The usual rule is if you played only one battle, you can return the ship. If you played more than that, that option isn't available anymore.

 

But to be honest, just give that ship a bit more time and master it, it's definitely a good ship for most players.

Why come everyone calls Venezia OP, but the only memorable experiences I have of it was that I outspotted it in my BB and devstruck it in its silly turn with 457 mm shells that have the second higheest AP alpha in the game (not counting Shikishima)? Why come people call CVs OP but last time I played clan brawl, most CVs were no match for my mighty Ognevoi?

 

Just because the majority of the playerbase is dumb as rocks doesn't mean certain ships aren't just stupidly strong when actually played properly (while others still are crap even i you do everything right).

Sorry, but Thunderer is not crap at all. One bad game shouldn't tell you that it is bad. You seem to do ok in Conqueror, so respect the armour scheme of the Thunderer, you get the same. Just with a faster rudder. The guns meanwhile are the big draw and if you master those, the ship's just broken. If you really struggle hard, play it like Conqueror, it mostly can do the same things, but try to figure out when to fire AP and when to fire HE and you get the most out of it.

Also remember that it doesn't have the Conqueror's 3d printer on demand.

So when I wrote players with low IQ I got warning point, but when you write dumb as rocks thats ok. I guess there are really WG levels of insulting others.

Kremlin, Yamato, Conqueror and Georgia all with 54-60% win rate and all of them with a great(according to WoWS-Numbers website) damage output, I consider myself to be quite good in battleships and my stats back this up but this one was a bit of a shock to the system

If you use HE as your main choice you just make yourself a bad conQek. 

457mms on thunderer has much much more potential than the HE..

Fixed it, shooting HE with this ship is a total waste. If i see one firing HE ingame, i know i can ignore him until i run out of targets.

And does your Yamato have the LM equipped? If it makes any sense to you, the guns are just too accurate. It doesn't depend on RNG as much as other BBs.

 

So if you lead/aim well you can consistently smack someone from 20+km. If you don't lead/aim well RNG aint gonna be helping you much.
