Yes, I can confirm:

• In order to receive "Special" Moskva, you should have it researched at least once and you don't need to have it on your port.
• The Captain from Moskva will retain his specialization

They destroyed the new German cruisers when they looked like being balanced and fun, and then they boost the OP BS russian paper ships through the roof...one good thing this release does along with the communist style ban on CC's from reporting on WiP ships ends beyond any shadow of a doubt the question of soviet BIAS...it's here (always has been) it's real and its absolutely MASSIVE. Still can't balance CV's and subs are looking to be totally broken but rammed into the game regardless. Like a square peg pounded into a round hole. Just another day at the WG office.

One more thing I would like to bring to players awareness, please be aware at the possible cost of buying these crates, 2850 are required to unlock all bundles, the largest you can get is 300 which I suspect will be extremely rare based upon the previous event when the largest amount you could get was 250 token in a crate, again extremely rare. There was also 10, 20, 40, 100, 150 and 250 available. In this version it's just 5,10,15, 25 and 300. Buyer beware it took 97,000 gold to unlock all bundles in the previous event and the tokens in these crates other than the large 300 are significantly less than the previous event. You require 10 x 300 straight out of the gate and the luck of the Gods to make this even remotely affordable. 

 

You can get up to 54 containers from the directives and daily missions, and that got me the t5/6 in the last event, so i'm again estimating that will be enough for the T8 or more likely just close enough to unlocking the T8 to make you feel like with just a little luck and a few thousand gold you can unlock one ship. Good luck, hope you all hit loads of 300's but just be aware of the click bait maybe next bundle aspect of this version of crates, and remember a few weeks time you can get these for FREE, they are after all tech tree ships.

You know, the russian ship were crap under the big war, so instead they inject some overpowered fantasy ships. They even use blue print ships from midt to late 50ties (Smolensk) to match out the rest

Question, if i have the mokswa researched and have not resetted the tech tree, DO i still need to farm 250k xp AGAIN in donskoi to get this new tier 10 ? Or will i have unlocked the replacement tier 10  and can buy it straight away ? 

 

REgarding lootcrates and luck stuff, As long as lootcrates and gambling keep being a part of the game , my wallet is firmly closed

Think this has been stated a gazillion times but the only thing you get if you EVER have had Moskva researched is Moskva.. NOTHING else. Do you have premium Camo on Moskva, sorry no refund, you still get a Premium T10 for free.. Not a bad deal, but still..

Well not the same. As we can see here, the only content of this rulette containers are now tokens, nothing more. That's a huge nerf and another way to not get (ocassionally) a bunch of coal/camo. Sad.

moskva will be replaced in 0.9.5 not in 0.9.4, those who not research moskva yet, they still have most likely one month for research the moskva

So let me get this down.

1 i have researched moskva and it gets changed into a premium then all the xp i researched is now getting discarded with no compensation.

2 the captain will be useless in the new ships so it will cost me to respec him.

3 we get no replacement ships for the cruiser line even after having researched up to tier 10

4 people that don't have the perma cammo on the moskva will get it but people that played 5000 doubloons will NOT get a perma cammo for the new tier 10.

 

This is really BS if this is what WG is doing. i have been in this game since closed beta and WG just seem to be getting more and more EA like in there gambling mechanics and its going to push people off this game.
