when i first noticed it, i was like what happened there, dont know, probs rare, they will fix it soon enough

but today i worked it out and u can reproduce it easy

using a spotter aircraft, looking at people to shoot, when u see a ship about to ram another on the enemy team, its like easy shot....

nope

as soon as the ship ur locked on to bumps his team mate, it also goes on to your ships aim, i like zoom out and like "IM NO WHERE NEAR ANY SHIPS WHY AM I GETTING THE BUMPING TEAM MATES EFFECT"

toodles

I think Flambass had something similar where a ship he was targetting using his Spotter plane got torped and flooded and yet Flambass could hear the "flooded" sound effect on his ship. More bugs WG will eventually get around to ignoring some more I guess.

probs has an effect when bumbing islands too, but not as sharp when they bump into team mates, who knows

I avoid bumbing islands whenever possible. But have absolutely no objection to anyone else being into bumbing islands, if that's what they enjoy doing...

What I hate about using spotter is.... when you zoom out and back in, the camera throws you to your max-range. All the freaking time. Frustrating.

It throws you exactly where you are aiming, put your crosshair below the target before you zoom in.

@topic: There is an option in the controls tab, something like 'damage feedback' in the upper middle of the screen. It shakes the camera when you get hit, I turned it off years ago. Not sure if it helps here, worth a try.

I have noticed that when firing at two ships very close together your shells seem to have a life of their own and don't land anyway near your aim point...

That's obviously because so much mass in one place causes gravitational distortion, duh.

Perhaps we can call it the WG Triangle...
