[-EXS-] Hades_warrior Players 5,381 posts 6,659 battles Report post #1 Posted May 5, 2020 So I wonder how far will this situation with bad servers go? My PC now started to crash so much that I have to restart my PC when game crash or get DC. And no its not problem in my PC because I play for a long time other games also, without any problems. WG this is beyond r3tard, really. If i'll have to uninstall this shitfest game to avoid any further resets of my PC i'll be happy to do it.

That seems to be exactly what it is. Just tried to load in to an Ops match five times, finally got in after a low-memory warning and my comp stroking out for a couple of minutes. It's only happened with WoWs, and only since last patch, but now the game is crashing in more matches than not; at this point I'm tempted just to give up and wait until next patch (although I might give subs and balans cruisers a miss as well come to think of it...) Either the computer needs a good cleaning, a good de-worming () or (parts of) the hardware is on its way out. It could even be simple overheating or an update that is playing up in a weird way. Regarding computer parts getting less tolerant for overclocking could also indicate stuff like electro-migration or aging of caps. Or TIM drying out. Years ago I had hard crashes when gaming and I was only able to solve it by adding in a dedicated sound card. For some reason the onboard sound was seemingly the cause of this. Not sure but the new addon card did fix it.

The most recent example that I personally had to deal with was Rome 2 TW. I could play the prologue fine and could enter the campaign mode fine BUT the second I clicked to end turn, no matter what I did, the game would craash and hard boot my PC at the same time. I did some checking online and it turns out that it was a known issue that manifested with a very specific motherboard/gpu combo. Either or both could be working fine (the PC I had at the time was brand new, btw) but if you had THAT specific motherboard with THAT specific GPU then the game would absolutely hard-boot your machine when you clicked end turn. It happened to EVERYBODY with that specific mobo/gpu combo.
