Join us in celebrating the end of World War II in Europe with a solemn naval parade, complete with the expert commentary of James D. Hornfischer and The Chieftain!

Chieftain and Jingles... Now that is an unbeatable combination. Jingles humor and Chiftains tendency to waffle on about things.

Great idea and having Jingles, Drachinifel and the Chieftain together will make for a very fun and interest show.

Sounds interesting hope it doesn't turn out to be some russian propaganda spiel and ridiculous over the top substitute for the cancelled Red Square parade. Hope it's balanced and involves all nations.

It should be a Memorial Parade...................not a Victory Parade.

75 years after the event, we are all allies now, but some people still want to ram the 'we won the war' mantra down our friends throats.

This is Stricktly for Crysantos : I DISLIKED IT!!!!!!

There, now someone said it ;-)
(doesn't mean I ment it)

Anyways, this was super interesting. Even learned some new facts about the warships about the real counterparts of some of the ingame ships.

Also, thumbs up for the captains sailing parade during the stream.

Keep up your interesting work, and don't get killed by a stray torpedo ;-)

One of the better streams, and not a burden to watch/listen to. Also kudos for letting them talk and complete their answers, instead of shoving in question after question, or interupting them.

Might be interesting to organise such streams for the major naval engagements, having a "historic Q&A" with questions linked to that engagement. A Jutland-themed stream would be interesting from my point of view.

Question I saw pop up in the chat a couple of times: can we expect historical camo's for techtree (sister)ships? Like the Ajax-camo that was done for Leander.

This stream was quite informative and enjoyable to watch.  I would encourage WG to involve more people from the naval history world for future events.  Thanks to those who organised this.

Couln't catch it live unfortunately, but watched the whole thing on Youtube just now. Great stuff! I could listen to those four discuss naval history for hours (well, I guess I just did). If at some point in the future quarantine will be over, mabye you could get them together in person and just let them have at it. I would so watch that!

Indeed thumbs up for them - and many thanks!

Here is the credit roll (all ships + reserves)

Zafkiel_Sama, El_Fruchtini, Kysmet, Covenant_R, Lightbaron, obican, Trainspite, Killerbin34, Mister_Greek, Foenssborough, TigerTex74, OldGrandad, Tar_Eldarion, Dr_Snuggles, Bazinga_Flux, IsamuKondera, T0byJug, Batz_10K, dayofmone, X1_maverick, Earl_of_Northesk, Ecotech, ADM_dude, Kancolle_Kongou, Ataeru, snipingcat, FireRM, DrArcade

Would be impossible without their dedication and attention to formation sailing (apparently the Texas caused the most problems :D)
