It was. Seems like it was basically a Slava at T8, very accurate over long range. Someone on Reddit posted an image of dev strike of Brindisi over 28km

 

 

 

25mm bow armour is not a problem if you don't need to push in the first place but could basically snipe from spawn. Not a huge fan of this concept.

When I squared off against it in Alabama last week, I noticed Champagne dispersion was extremely consistent, and very, very tight. Most of the fight took place from around what you'd consider mid range for Alabama. 

 

It was just one game, though.

Yes, but the post you quoted was made before we had gotten confirmed information on the event rewards.
