Aircraft carrier balances

Hello, are the developers planning to better balance the carriers? At the moment they are not very good and their planes are extremely easy to shoot down and it is easy to avoid their attacks, personally I think that the planes should have a higher range of invisibility around 5.5 or 6 km for the torpedo bombers and 5 for the bombers, so they could carry out better surprise attacks and that the boats do not dodge you so easily.

Ooof this is bit of a hot topic. Learn to dodge flak is the best tip I can give you. ONce flak is dodged you will see that the DPS don't bother you all that much if at all and you are free to strike whatever you want. I would also advise to go into a training room to both learn how to avoid flak but also get a feel for dropping targets and what targets take damage from respective squadron.

 

Getting even better stealth on your planes is a no go as there is so little counterplay against CV's anyways so having near invisible planes would just be even more terrible.

What I see is that as the carriers have left it is to be support bascos, because they just do almost nothing, since any ship can dodge everything you throw at it, for example there is a funny thing, rocket planes should to be able to attack in less time, because the destroyers you see them just when you have already passed over them, so you can not attack them. I think that the aircraft carriers were useful before, now it is almost not worth it or to have them in the game, unless they are improved a little so that they have a minimum effect in the game. Right now it would not matter if one team has aircraft carriers and the other does not, since it does not affect anything, in fact it would be even a handicap.

This is a problem on your part. CV's are the most influental class in the game currently. They are very good damage farmers, they can spot indefinetely and they punish anyone who dares isolate themselves. Put some more CV games under your belt and you will see this aswell (I mean you do more damage per game after the rework that previously, that should tell you something).

Hahaha, it seems that you have stayed in 2017 or 2018, possibly before if they were doing something, but now the aircraft carriers are not worth anything, in fact it is impossible to hit a destroyer, when before if you did it very well you could do something to them, but now not .
If the carriers improved a little, they could be decisive, but as they are now they are nothing, they are like a destroyer with 3km torpedoes and with a speed of 26 knots, we are useless, situational and causing damage only to enemies who do not even know what. they make themselves.
The only good thing is that since even wargaming has realized that they have been trashed, you do not lose money even if you only do 7000 damage.

Ok this is seriously a l2p issue. After the rework I thought CV's were weak, but it was mainly because I was bad (and still is kinda). After more and more games, learning about flak, target selection, AP bombs etc it started to click. The amount of map control you get from a CV is obscene, the amount of spotting is insane, DD's are not that difficult to find and strike after some practice, the damage dealing potential is great and the overall impact is only limited by your own skill most of the time.

 

Reworked CV's are really goddamn strong is basically what I'm saying.

Better leave it, you do not need to answer me more, I will continue playing with them, doing between 8000 and 50 000 damage until I get the next one, or until I get tired and sell them.
