I had 3 months with hundred of games having under 30% win rate. And not only once, but many times

 

Overall I have 54% win rate but I did not change anything in my gameplay from the time I get hundreds of games in a row with 30% win rate. Though sometimes I just win because the MM lets me to. I just don't matter as a player... I play the same and sometimes I win sometimes I lose

 

- Skill does not matter, only the Matchmaker

- Skilled players can't turn most of the games... if the MM decides never to put them in decent teams, they will get 30% win rate

- I had 22 losses in 26 games in ranked at rank 15.... and these streaks did not happen only once to me... I think this is really low probability, even if I were afk all games I should of won more games

- I don't care if the game mode is called "Random", or anything else.... call it whatever you wish, it is just bad design and destroys the game - which otherwise is nice to play

- It's either I am a very bad player, so I see no reason to play the game, or the MM is just bad design and frustrating for me... so no reason to play the game...

 

In any case... they can throw as many coupons they want at me... they won't see my wallet again until they fix the MM.

First of all, thank the comment for my post, what I say is that MM generates many unbalanced matches by not paying attention to the rank of commanders and the rigging of ships.
And what I said is that the MM should give the player the possibility to say if he only wanted players of the same rank or if he followed the usual MM. As for me, I think there is a lack of submarines and mines and once again I reinforce a map with no open sea obstacles which would make the game much more balanced.
I also think it's unfair that a ship like NCarolina doesn't have radar seems ridiculous.

What I mean is that from a given tier all upgrades should be available and each player used the best ones.

Why cant they not just have the permanent option for clan battles to play whenever they want? Matchmaking is just cr@p. I love my T8 ships but 95% of the time I am facing tier 10 and get blapped with one salvo which is so frustrating and annoying. I really want to stay with this game but more and more I am coming off an evening and being totally angry and frustrating with the complete idiots you get matchmade with. DDs just charging in or BBs camped so far off the map they may as well be AFK for all the value they add. This seems to be getting worse, not better.

What facts do you have to support that argument? I used to see 35-40k+ on a Saturday evening, now it is more like 20-25k max. I don't think player numbers have increased. If you have stats that say otherwise would be happy to see them.

The maximum on 2nd May was 36k

Well covid-19 is going to account for a lot of that. Look in Jan and the stats had gone down. With lockdown in many countries there are limitations to what can be done. It takes a global pandemic to get the player numbers up to what they used to be. Take your point though, I am sure many players have enough different opinions to me but am getting a lot of 180-200k games and still losing really badly. Its becoming quite toxic which is a shame as I love the game and the concept of it.

Nobody claimed anything different.

Player numbers go always down after the New Year event.

In general we had a slight increase over the past years.

Just because you may have a few good games when bottom tier don't mean you can say its working.

We are not all 59% win rate players like you pal.

And now imagine ship classes had their own MM spread ... f.e. DDs could go more that +2/-2 if memory serves.

Worst matchmaking ever see in my life.
Only care about Tiers. That why 6 players play for 10. Because all time fuckingg noobs buy tier IV and dont even know about logic of game. Like CV go direct to make cap.

Dear all, I think that what SHOULD happen is that the matchmaker really and reliably ignores player Skills, ship outfits or wheter they are stock or completely upgraded. If e. g. unskilled and skilled players are really randomly distributed, they should be distributed evenly and the game outcome should NOT be 100 % loss in a row in 10 games, because of real balance of all parameters, as we apparently all experience frequently.
 

I for  example am an average Player, trying hard to increase my WR above 52 %, but always failing until now, as in frequent order the losses in a row bring my rate frustratingly down. In my opinion, the reason could only be that the MM distributes Players intentionally in an assymmetric manner. Whatever the reason, I have no idea. I would gladly welcome to be sure that we have a MM ENSURING random assignment, but the experience tells me the contrary...

Btw I have usually no Problems being  low Tier. Usually. You just have to be more careful then. Pick your foe carefully. This is however completely futil if your team dies in the first five minutes like flies. This makes me really nuts that this is happening so often. My paranoia tells me then: the ted team is not only more skilled, ist also gets an RNG buff... But this cannot be, can it?

I got a warning from the moderators. Does not matter everyone that plays this game know the matchmaking is the worst thing about this game.

it creates so much frustration that people stop playing and stop spending money on it.

 

You can give me another warning if you like it does not change the facts.

I have 100% the same feeling with you...

MM stinks too much of intentionally creating bad teams... it is clearly not random.

Yes.

Even now, 200 battles with 30% winrating would drop your overall winrate by 0.5% points. One could see that.

Had this happened in the past with less overall battles, then the drop would have been even steeper.

It is garbage when you are bottom tier.

But people say, "at least you can still do damage".

How can I do damage when I am out ranged and out gunned?

 

I find it is at its worse when I play a tier 5 ship.

If I get into a tier 7 battle, 9 times out of 10, I have NO CHANCE.

 

+2 matchmaking in both WoWS and WoT is totally unfair.

But Wargaming refuse to try out +1 matchmaking in any of their games.

I wouldn't mind waiting in the queue a little longer, to get a +1 -1 game.

 

Islands and smoke, or ganging up on a enemy ship.
