How to calculate Firechance

EDIT: Just found the Error IFHE should have been 1 and not 0

But now i have another question. It looks like Σ S and DE are nearly worthless. They increase the fire chance only by about 1 or 2 percent in total compared to the cost of three commander skills.

0,5338 * ( 1 - 0,05 ) * ( 1 - 0,1 ) * (( 50 * 1 ) + 0,00/0,05 + 0/2 ) = around 25% to 26%

preEDIT:

Hey there,

i am having problems when calculating the Fire Chance for my CV squad

Regarding to the wiki https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Fire

I calculate a value of about 2% fire chance for my bombers against a Tier X Stock Hull and around 4% against Tier IV Hull. I think my calculation is wrong but i do not find any mistake.

This is my calculation based on the Formula Fire Chance = FRC · ( 1 - DCM1 ) · ( 1 - FP ) · ( ( FCB · IFHE ) + DE + Σ S )

FRC = 0,5338

DCM1  0,05

FP = 0,1

FCB = 50

IFHE = 0

DE = 0,05

Σ S = 0

0,5338 * ( 1 - 0,05 ) * ( 1 - 0,1 ) * (( 50 * 0 ) + 0,05 + 0 ) = 0,0228200

They are indeed not very useful on high base-chance attacks like BB-HE and HE-bombs.

DE and the flags are the most effective on high-DPM low fire-chance guns as are found on (non RN-) CL and gunboat-DDs such as the soviet ones and also very useful on most CAs

or with HVARs and similar rockets (though those are more direct-damage weapons than fire-starters)
