DDs where has the love gone?

    • Yes, 5 radars and 1 cv per dd is a little bit difficult.

Nightmares are imaginatory. The real danger to BBs is other BBs.

not really when dd is supporting teammates,

for example today i had battle, that enemy battleships can't todo much and they hided behind mountain because me and other teammate constant torpedo them.

And I had this one game where this BB totally just deleted another BB. The second BB couldn't do anything after that becase he was at the bottom of the sea.

 

BBs do much more damage to BBs than DDs do. There's no DD that has an average damage high enough to kill a single BB of the same tier.

So support only existed on one side, and you call that a balanced enough matchup to use as a legitimate example?

 

If one side has better support, of course that's going to be the strongest side. It's a team game.

both teams have 12 ships really, and usually same tier, there was even a cv, but really if someone not know how to use, then balance not helps

Not sure exactly what you're saying since your English is so broken, but if balance doesn't help if one side is more skilled, why present an example of a difference in skill and try to argue for balance? If you want to argue for balance, use two sides with equal skill.

ex DD main here....

 

Used to have fun in this game... WG made sure it ended when they "reworked CVs".

 

When the subs come... I will probably be gone for good. Said that when they announced NTC... but they sneaked it in renamed, like we are some sort of idiots.

 

I don't want to spend time with a game where devs actively are making it unfun and frustrating for all.

CVs on the other hand are BS. Radar ships have limited windows to spot you and if it spends the game camping an island to spot you it isn't doing much else. A carrier can just keep coming for you and keep damaging you.

 

The enemy radar can also be counterplayed by your allied ships. What counterplays the carrier? 

depending on the amount of radar ships ... 2-3 per side are manageable .... 5 not so much ... however 1 CV per side is one too many ...

That doesn't mean it's fun to play against though, the counters tend to be more passive play, waiting spotting, spamming torps from long range etc rather than fighting for caps in DD knife fights or trying to get close to ships to deliver a killer blow.

 

Radar came in primarily to counter one ship - Shimakaze - but she's probably the least affected by it of all.

Its definitely not fun, but way more manageable than dealing with a CV that removes 3k in the first few seconds and then keeps coming back for you.

 

Lots of fun sailing around in circles or constantly having to turn and run towards the nearest ship to try and get some AA overlap/cover.

The love for DDs went to the bottom of the ocean aboard my GK. :)

That being said DD's often forget to turn off AA which helps avoid the CV Seagull brigade.

It'd be the simplest to just replace DD with more carriers. They spot safely, can deal with any ship type and can react to any situation the fastest. Just make them send out small rowboats to caps so they can do that too :)

Radars are not that bad. Yes you sometimes get alot of radars on the enemy team, but usually it's manageable. 

Now CV''s is just not fun at all. For anyone except the CV players. I want to play world of warSHIPS, not op CV game.

They are, but they sit in A1 the whole game risking nothing but their endless supply of planes. They dont have to play ship tactics like the rest. just bomb or torp from a safe distance without ever risking anything. It has nothing to do with ships.

Sitting at the map's edge costs valuable flight time. Enjoy those carriers. Plane replenishment could use tweaks, but its not a 3d printing machine that compensates mistakes in full.

That is WG not listening nor caring. Not players. They want to sell more premium ships. CV players want to sealclub even harder and buys a new ship. That has nothing to do with how many that complains there is about cv gameplay. Do you read this forum? There is hundred of posts about the problems CV's bring. Please dont pretend that everything is okay with CV's.
