For the next week, you'll not only earn double Recruitment Points for Division play with your Shipmates—you can also get a free Tier IX Premium ship!

Read it on the portal

don't see it as a criticism or as a complaint - but there are only 11 Prizes available, so getting any of these is "highly unlikely" and again dependent on RNG.

so my suggestion would be to reward people who recruit a set minimum of player that are still active after a certain time, a reward that they get for certain, for example some tier 5 premium ship - that is, if these rewards are meant as an incentive to recruit more players.

a nice touch would be to specially create a ship, maybe one that was historically used as a training ship.

again - not a complaint but a suggestion.

I will happily recommend your game to anyone when you balance the effort <> rewards to the level where I can honestly say it's beneficial for a casual gamer, not only hard-grinding HC players.

Until then ^_^

Ok, I know that this may be out of topic but how about desync? You guys keep coming up with fresh ideas but some times tend to ignore game's glitches like the one below or getting disconnected from the game during battle and not being able to connect after numerous attempts until the battle is over.

Such was the case of a clan mate yesterday that accidentally clicked on armory as I clicked the "battle" button.

I'm posting desync here so maybe it gets noticed.

X2, I like this game but it can drive someone crazy at times even him/her being a seasoned player so it's also hard for me to recommend this to a new player.

is the player base dying out??? since you trying so hard to give new players top tire ships in every possible way, top tire matches are already filled with too many new players who have no idea what they're doing yet. So WG please start focusing on making the gaming experience better instead. If you spent as much time improving the gaming experience as you do on submarines and everything else, maybe you could get more new players to play the game

So if I read this all correctly, WG wants players to promote recruitment for the 'chance of winning' a ship? Why not just reward recruiters with a tier 9 ship when they reach a specific milestone rather than the cheap 'chance' at winning. You want money and work on your behalf for very little in return again WG. Stop this BS

I could not possibly recommend the game to anyone in it's present state,  Before the CV rework Yes, but since then to many things that in my opinion are just wrong, To many idea's that imho are so unfathomable, A good deal is when both parties think they did well it does not seem to happen much anymore. Sorry WG "As ye sow So shall ye reap".

It's as if you just put new things and ideas into the game, without thinking about the consequences.

soon the game will be full of new players and all old players have fled the sinking ship.

I just don't like WG's increasingly assumptive attitude and the cheek of them thinking that people must do all this recruitment for them for a 'chance' at winning. I think most people know the odds are incredibly low, so WG get all the value from this arrangement and most recruiters get none in return. I've said for a long long time WG have a really backward way of valuing things. Recruitment will flow almost naturally should they, in general, treat their playbase with the respect it deserves instead of as spoilt children.

@WG: Create a rolling veterans reward programme and recruits will follow...your vets keep this game going. Give your existing players milestones and rewards as premium players / long term active players / etc etc and people will keep playing and recruiting for you. This recruitment programme of yours should not be the mainstay of your recruitment, it's secondary to other very very obvious player-driven alternatives available to you right now. You're not being creative enough in your thinking. It's time to employ people who know the real value of the existing long term playerbase, because your current 'management' don't appear to think beyond their current seemingly limited skillset.

I asked my friends for the first two years or so but then I stopped because I still wanted them as friends. Nowadays I see no point in asking anyone to join since I'm not sure if I'm gonna play it myself in a month or two.

Agree 100% with both. I sometimes tend to joke that this game is like a card castle; it looks good, but as soon as you touch it, it falls apart. I also agree with @StanleyHTweedle as that is one of the biggest problems that this game has in my opinion, the fact that sometimes the rewards don't justify the effort; best example Puerto Rico, i don't need to say anything else; while, for example, the ARP missions of this February were much better.

Also, for me, the fact of basically not having friends that like at least like the subject (warships) greatly diminishes any possibility of me inviting someone (if i would recommend the game, which i don't). Atcually, i do have some friends that kind of like the subject, but two of them like tanks and if fact they don't play WoWS, they play WoT, and another one does play (i hope) WoWS, but not the PC version, he plays WoWS: Legends of the console.

For WG, that's called Research Bureau, which i hate btw :Smile-angry:

Double recruitment points for playing with your recruit are not credited.

Neither my recruit nor I did get double points. Only the standard 18, respectivly 5, for a losing battle are credited. Same behavior for winning battles.shot-20_04.20_18_58.10-0411.thumb.jpg.40f4e7d1f71f1663ccca39b8a80af6e3.jpg

I can't agree more, WG has gone the wrong way, they are thinking too much about making money and unfortunately making too many bad decisions. I know it's a little early, but I don't think their submarines help, but on the contrary, it ruins the game more because they don't take the time to fix, the things that don't work now.

There was a time I used to really encourage friends to play this game and a fair few did take it up for a while but 0.8.0 drove all but 1 of them off the game.

Now with the dying out of operations, constant spam of high tier premiums, and the dismal lack of balancing in regards to CV interaction and Russian ships not to mention the beginnings of subs coming to the game there is no way I could recommend this game to anyone.

I just don't hate my friends that much!

The only friend I recommended this game to stopped playing when he got to tier 3 because he was fed up being used as target practise by double carriers in every game with a ship that had no anti aircraft guns to defend itself. Can't say that I blame him. Take rocket planes off low tier carriers and perhaps this problem could be solved.

As I've posted before, to become attractive to new casual players WG needs to add meaningful missions for ships below tier V. Of course, since WG can't soak low tier players for money like they can high tiers, they'll never consider it. (Instead, they f*ck around with Twitter.):etc_swear:

I wouldn't wish upon anyone to start playing this game now.

Luckily for me I started playing when you weren't so greedy and lazy, and really tried to make the game a better thing.

Bonus Recruitment Points

For the duration of the event, ALL battles you play in a Division with your Shipmates will grant you double the Recruitment Points you would normally get. This rule also applies to the victory bonus, which is then added to the base reward:

A day later @Crysantos @Tanatoy:

This still isn't working. Still only recieving the normal recruitment points when I play with my shipmate in a division. My shipmate is reporting the same on his side.

I'm not a long time player but why would a beginner stay in this game long?

The low tiers are a mess, there are no missions for it, all operations are tier VI+ and if you are playing a tier 3 or 4 (sometimes 5) you are just a sitting duck for CVs.

It's not like high tiers are much good either, having a Hakuryu bomb you for a lot of your HP isn't very "fun and engaging".

Tbh I think most new players will run after seeing the way WG responds to feedback (basically ignoring it).

Can confirm, played with my recruit and I still get the normal 26 points for victory.

Also, this raffle and RNG system is nothing but a disappointment and it discourages us to recruit more players for you, having a 0.00001% to win a premium ship is just absurd.

Why can't we get a milestone system like in Warframe? its way more effective and rewarding at keeping veterans in the game and new players as well instead of this useless RNG fiesta.

Reccomend someone to this game?  HAHA, great joke WG, great joke.

I think the first thing I mention to anyone who asks about WoWs is the insane russian bias and the ineptitude of its developers.

On NA they also seem to absolutely love this newest installment of recruitment drive: https://forum.worldofwarships.com/topic/216467-week-long-recruit-a-thon-–-win-a-tier-ix-ship/

And on RU, you at least get real money, and a longer timeframe to gather recruits than a measly 7 days: https://worldofwarships.ru/en/news/sales-and-events/easiest_money/

Commanders!

The Sea Brotherhood is a proven way to earn containers, ships and doubloons, and from April to June - more money!
From April 9 to June 9, 23:59 (Moscow time), an action is held that will allow you to get from 300 rubles to 500 rubles
for each newcomer brought into the game through the referral system Sea Brotherhood. Join the ranks of the mentors of
the fraternity and look for associates!

Super prizes are provided for the top 10 participants by the number of new players invited to the game who played one battle on the tier VI ship under investigation.

Top by number of invited players

Super prize 1 place 150 000₽

2nd place 100 000₽

3rd place 75 000₽

4-10 places 50 000₽

Also shows you how desperate they are becoming to pump up population numbers and try to suck in fresh blood.

@Egoleter: probably only works for recruits you bring in during this event, not for the recruits you already have.
