So... apart from Massa and Georgia

Which silver and gold US BB do you recommend?

North Carolina. Still one of the most solid tier 8 BB's in the game regardless of what her stats may say.

North Carolina, Iowa and Montana are still solid picks for their tier. They can be quite trollish with their accuracy however and have lost much of their utility thanks to glorious perfect-in-every-way CV rework. NC can be especially bad when it comes to the former aspect.

Other than that, I've heard good things about the Ohio but haven't played it personally.

Silver line: whatever floats your boat. It's free. Personally I kept everything from Colorado up to Montana. Couldn't be bothered with the lower tiers beyond grinding through them.

Prem: West Virginia. That's it. As I don't want New Mex, I also don't want Arizona for the very same reasons. Alabama is not much of a point over NC to me. But WV is a good ship to slap low tiers around (or high tiers when uptiered). Nothing like bringing high tier guns to a mid tier battle.

NC is pretty fun ship to play . Very tanky when angled very squishy when broadside . Good concealment you can shoot and disappear easy. Guns hit very hard .

Iowa same as NC just you are too huge so your first few minutes you should play back just a bit to see how the match is going to unfold. Overcommitting in a bb is almost always a death sentence this hold especially true for iowa. Iowa has 38mm plating all over midsection enabling you to cheat most Yamato players. (Many Yamato players simply don't know how to aim the bow lulz). Plus the enhanced Repair Party, it's almost as tanking as Montana if you angled well.

Montana is cruiser killer . I loved deleting smolensk in 1 salvos with montana. 12 guns so very accurate .  But again overextending alot and the Montana will always punish you back .

Ohio is very good.

Arizona is just a New Mexico with better sigma and worse heal after the global minus premium usn heal buff.

Hard to recommend the Alabama as the Massa is better. The NC is also better than the Alabama due to its 2.0 sigma and improved heal.

We have a G, E O, R, G, I, A.......GEORGIAAAAA. This ship is fun, it has a refreshing different playstyle.

NC is good, been trialling Missouri and Georgia and liked them both, so I presume Iowa is also decent (Missouri is a little bit better in terms of armour, I think her withdrawal was largely financial, would be nice if we could have that hull back with as a normal Premium credit earner). WV41 is fun, and Texas plods along being Texas - no longer the AA monster of old, but it still has lots of guns and hits very hard. Alabama and Arizona did not impress.

While WV can violently remind broadsiding T8 baBBies, her guns are absolute overkill against most targets in Operations.

the best for cash/dubloons are Arizona and the massa

silver ships are north Carolina and the montana

I also have the Missouri and ohio but in all honesty the massa is more fun than all of them and the monty will near enough wreck anything it meets as long as you respect that she will be hit hard if you go broadside to anything

credit making will always be the Missouri but I find her a boring ship and though she prints silver for fun the Musashi is more fun so now don't play the Missouri anymore

A word of warning about the Massachusetts though, IMO you need a dedicated captain to make most of that build, meaning you will need to make use of that secondary fire power. The downside of this is, you can rely less on your main guns that with the other US BB's... or, IMO, even if you use secondary builds on German BB's.

Ohio. Tons of fun, a brawler and guns with punch and makes you extra silver if u need it. Everybody can afford it :cap_money:

Sure thing. it takes eons to grind though. But when you earned it it is more than worth it. Makes tons of silver, captain XP and free XP.

Silver: North Carolina

Gold: Texas

Even if Mo would have been available now, I would still recommend getting Georgia instead of Missouri.

I didn't like Iowa or Montana tbh. Perhaps I should try playing Montana more, but I certainly never really clicked with Iowa. Of course this is also a matter of personal opinion, but Iowa/Missouri are veeeery sluggish.

Colorado was too slow, though the guns seem good now. I did kinda like NM, but it's also quite slow and I barely play lower tiers anymore anyway.

North Carolina and Alabama are both good ships and are much alike. Of course Alabama will make more credits and doesn't need its own captain.

Yeah, but I don't play her for ops. Warspite is better there.

Arizona and New Mexico.  T6 where the pace of life is slower and you have time to enjoy your game. :Smile_hiding:

i have and played them both, though, imo massachusettets (VIII) kind of bit stronger than Georgia (IX), Massachusetts also making the more credits (= Massachusettls VIII fully build secondaries, fully, it can battle 3x enemy ships same time & realy hurt them and sink them). Fun battles, great spectacle graphically, real entertainment, as I always experienced it.

That being said, the US BB line: i did not explore (was no reason for me to do), but from what i have experienced in battles: Iowa  great ship(!), still I would go for the great Montana X right away: massive ship, looks awesome, also. But that is my opinion: one has sooooo many choices, pick the ships (BB) that fits yr playing style. Kind regards, Yaskara XX

Arizona and WV are good gold choices for low tier. For high tier I would say Massa, and I highly recommend secondary build on her.

Georgia is a beast, and like Massa, a good choice for a secondary build.

Missouri is a very good ship, but you can't get her outside some events or in Chirstmas crates if you're lucky.

With that said, my most played high tier ship is the Musashi, sister ship of the mighty Yamato. She's very fun to play, and those 460mm guns :cap_rambo::cap_win:

Worth noting that the Texas has been powercrept by WG buffing the New York. on two occasions.

ive alway found the Missouri pretty lacklustre to play, guns always seem to troll me.

Likewise. Some people like the Texas, though.

Same experience with Missouri guns. Texas is definitely not OP or anything, but she worked fine for me last times I played her and I still found her fun to play.

Most US BB's are pretty good, at least they are balanced. You just need to get used to the shell speed/arcs. But after last night Clan Brawls i love the Massachusetts a little bit more.
