Winrates are even fine, and having loads of games with cooperative strangers having fun. I'm having a blast! And then today I wanted to express my joy and received message that I have a chat van till the 6th of April because of harassment, rude behavior etc. Huhwhat? I have expressed my disappointment at sucky games but this was always directed at the game an sich, not the players personally. The worst might have done is calling someone out on doing nothing in a corner. Is there anyway for me to find out what I have done wrong? But as far as I know that's only for the 24-hour period. Or at least the legends say so. When it's longer it's usually because someone decided you deserve a chat ban. The problem is that I believe the 'someone' is either a bot or someone who has no clue about anything in game or even social interaction. I've been chat banned many times. It's been always for 3 days. You'll never receive any explanation for it. I once (a month ago to be more specific) had a WG staff member (not sure if I'm allowed to call him out) promising me he will look into it and give me the reason for the chat ban but that was never done. I reminded him once again and he repeated he will look into it in few days but after that I gave up. My trust in their words/promises has "increased" ever since. That's my experience. But there have been so many threads about it that I don't think this one is really necessary despite your disappointment, even if it's reasonable. etc. etc. (just use the forum search and type "forum ban" and you'll get many threads) 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you need a short answer: you'll most likely never know the reason. Hell even a TWA got it when he said I was useless because I wouldn't contest a cap against a Moskva and Des Moines with my Yugumo.... JohnD0e Players 25 posts 6,674 battles Report post #9 Posted April 12, 2020 I got a chat ban but not on forums.I get chat ban by the automated sistem implemented in game,and i get repported just for playing with CV.It does not matter if you actually say bad words,you will get chat banned if you get reported alot.And if you play with cv you get reported from the start of the battle.I tryed to apeal that with a ticket but i just get an autoomates response.I am not the first one to encouter this problem. What is going on?!? I got another yesterday... In an absolutely useless team they all melt... So in all chat I put: Dear reds, turn up the heat so my team of Snow Cones melt faster.... thank you. (Ban ends 2145 hrs tonight)... reason for ban 'By Complaints' @JohnD0e appeals are a waste of time ... People will report CV players simply for playing CVs, and they will probably use the "Misbehaviour In Chat" report as this will probably result in something happening (a chat ban) rather than a player just having low karma. This is mean and stupid, of course, but if you think you are being targeted, just don't post any chat messages, as it seems likely that the auto system looks to see if you did before deciding on a ban. I behaved for several weeks, but WG matchmaking caused me to call my team the R-word a couple of times. Oh well. Arguing with these people will never work, so just ignore them.
