PT, changes to the detectability range of fighters

Changes in "Patrol Fighters" and "Fighter" consumables:

  • The detectability range of all fighters now matches their spotting range and is equal to 18 km.

 

This change will eliminate cases where a ship could be detected by enemy fighters after a main battery shot was fired, while the fighters themselves remained undetected. In addition, the action zone of fighters will now be visible more consistently on the minimap, which will allow players to better plan their movements in battle.

So that I understand this the correct way:

 

Fighter planes will now be spotted at 18km? So the planes will get spotted far ahead of the ship itself?

im not an expert on cv mechanics - 3 games played only on rts and few played on the PTS for the arcade mode that we have now but

 

i would prefer fighters to do fighters job so only shoot planes and not spot enemies except maybe make red ships visible only on map and make scout planes for maybe for the alternative CV line for all the CV ships you remove.

Why not remove fighters ability to spot targets for other ships than the CV itself?

 

Wasn't the whole point of the CV rework to prevent CVs from influencing more than one point on the map at the same time?

(thus they cant control the ship while flying, except by autopilot)
