May I just say that this particular port is probably the most beautiful so far, in my humble opinion of course. Well done to whoever was responsible.:Smile_great:

Agreed! But then obviously Zipangu had to get nerfed, because the Japanese aren't allowed anything nice in this game ;)

Personally the new Fjord port is now my favourite, just gorgeous.

The 3D artwork department did a amazing job on it.

But i see one error in you'r screenshot.

You should have used the Tirpitz not Bizzy :Smile-_tongue:

I have to agree that the new port is gorgeous. So, can we now have old Zipangu back to have a contest for "Most Beautful Port" between the two?

Nice port, but aren't the mountains the wrong shape for a fjord? Shouldn't the lower parts be U-shaped and "flow" into each other because of glaciation?

I thought that the features of a glaciation were still a core feature of geography lessons....

That's beside the point.

My ships are still not anchored or moored to anything, but instead just float freely with engines off.

It gives me conniptions. And a mini heart attack.

It is a very nice port. And best of all, the ships don't pitch and heave like they do in other ports.

Was it the bottom of Tirpitz I saw when I was motorbiking in -1988, from Oslo to Nordkap? Probably. :-) Fun thing was, as we took a break for lunch at the place, a touristbus loaded with german tourists stopped by. All the passengers rushed out, took a photo or two, then back into the bus, and away they went. :-)

Bilden kan innehålla: motorcykel och utomhus

A copy of a copy. But there we were, biking from south of Norway  as long north you can get in Europe, to Nordkap, in 1988. And if you wonder were the fjord is? Its about 500 meters below us in the back ground. :-)

But the Warspite charged into a Fjord and along with some other DDs absolutely murdered a load of German DDs that they trapped in there, much more apt for ruling the Fjords than the Tirpitz that just hid in there getting bombed all the time...

After Narvik the Germans had no destroyer force plus Warspite's spotter plane sank U-64.

So there we have it, the Grand ole Lady did rule the fjords, fact!
