My 6th match today and the first without CV for me. The reaction was quite funny as the game started.
I left the first character so you can see its not all the same 2 guys speaking.

Just another reason to play more CVs.... I mean.. the more people play the more people cry meaning WG might... remove them

 

 

If no one played CV then no one would cry and they will never be removed :(

Noone plays it is an acceptable workaround and saves WG resources. You have to be more positive! Like my sparkling self is!

Or they are very much aware of how broken CV REEEwork iteration is and doesn't give them much, if at all, room to buff CVs up to spreadshiet recommendations without bricking rest of the game

 

And its rather obvious Rocket REEEwork and now tested aircraft spotting aren't made out of WG good will, but to protect their newest pet project of underwater variety.

I like CVs, I don't want them to be removed U_U

But I understand that there is some things wrong with them. The fight for air superiority should be a real thing in the game and almost everyone should be able to contribute.

Also the spotting is cool In my honest opinion, but a bit too strong. CVs should focus on air superiority instead of acting like a long rang radar for the team.

I agree with this sentiment. It is astonishing how Lesta created a class where the fight for air supriority was already decided beforehand. Both sides have air superiority since the rework ^^

I wonder when will bozos in charge get it that CVs are OP even when played by average players. In hands of solid to good players they are completely broken. Not to mention idiotic soviet paper CVs. They can send wave after wave without suffering any loses or damage made to their toxic ship. Gotta be someone is intentionally trolling their player base (what is left of it anyway).

I just had a game where a Russian CV got a kraken. He ended mid of the team in points, so his trick was to finish low hp ships. Our Kaga couldn't do the same, the Russian CV has the advantage of coming after you time after time and killed me and other DD who couldn't run away.

We were 930 points vs 600 and still lost as the guy just had the freedom of killing anything he wanted.

The cherry on top? Their sub finished our Kaga that had 3/4 hitpoints with one attack.

The worst kind of game.

the enemy russian CV was just regular bad

Obviously our CV driver was average, he wasn't that bad but the Russian one was very good. You don't see a kraken on a CV everyday. I am saying is that on a Russian CV it might be easier as you just go again and again and can easily hit dds.

I have a question: Why are planes immune to AA from the point they begin their attack run to the point they drop their payload? This is the time they should be most vulnerable, but in this game they just gain protection from God?
