TBH I'd not hesitate do T10 with Ark Royal or Furious or Ryujo (not sure about Ranger or the Germans). Also I dunno how bad Langley was back then, nor T7. Only experienced the last bit of it. I sometimes go for the enemy CV. Sometimes they are really easy to kill. But if its 5CVs, they'd have to cap and do other stuff as well. And go through the middle on Two Brothers map. I did that once with Hiryu... in Coop, but still was funny as hell. The entire team had a blast and cheered for me, man that was fun. Maybe @ForlornSailor has some pics from it, as i was kinda busy at the time and couldnt take screenshots. But he was like "wtf is that CV going past me" when he was waiting at the exit of the channel. Well, there's a few factors to that: - most subs were tunnelvisioning, and they did not notice the planes; - it was before they found out about the 6.0m cheese; - mostly I got them when they were trying to torp a teammate. After a while I could not get them anymore, they just stayed below 6.0m (at 6.1m...). Couldn't hurt them there. What they tried then was to sneak up on my CV. Of course that didn't work, as I could still spot them and my CV was faster so I could outrun them. So we divved up a CV and a DD, I would spot them and my teammate would just depth charge them. CptBackstabber Players 4 posts Report post #4244 Posted September 20, 2020 Well been here since beta even back then said this class was a bad idea but never mind do it anyway then buffs nerfs to everything that got in the way for so called balance my point is this class is in most ways OP it can out spot a DD it can out maneuver a cruiser it can cripple a BB you base this class on team play saying stay safe behind a cruisers AA however this is only a feature in clan battles or clan matches in a random match no such thing as a team spin that anyway you want the only way to make this class actually fit is to first give all BBs at least a min 30k more health remove citadels from cruisers and have it as say a critical hit or whatever reduce DD detection to 2.5 by air or below so the planes have to be directly above and last but not least make the maps at least 4 squares bigger but as a final note I hate the class last time I tried it I fell asleep not joking so congrats to those that don't but if you want to fly planes maybe a flight sim would be better but who cares WG do whatever you can't please the entire player base so please stop trying as the more you do the more you break sorry for the long post but it's a fair one I think Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'm just a mediocre player and I'm fine with that. However I'm not happy with getting destroyed by carriers that are impossible to do anything against. No counterplay whatsoever and thought Des Moines supposed to be an AA ship? Well I just can't make it work against carriers, they get their drop down no matter what I do. Manage to somehow dodge the first 2-3 strikes? Well, lucky for me a 4th strike get that lucky hit 30% of hp gone, ofcourse they can do another strike with same planes, another 30% hp gone. I give up. Remove CVs from Competetive gameplay as soon as possible. No CLAN want them in CW !!! You cant win with 3:1CV with all caps, because the CV runs away and kills each ship one by one.
