Soon there will be a closed test session for attack aircraft carrying armor-piercing rockets. Please note that if the results are positive at the end of the test, detailed information about the future usage of this concept will follow.

 

The mechanics of these new rockets are similar to that of armor-piercing shells, with the main difference being –just like with armor piercing bombs– that their armor penetration is not dependent on the distance they are fired from, but is instead a constant value.

 

As per the current concept, these rockets on Tier X aircraft carrier squadrons will be close to 203 mm armor-piercing shells in terms of efficiency against different classes. Upon hitting destroyers there will often be overpenetrations and the total damage will be lower than with standard rockets.

 

The new rockets will be most effective against cruisers due to their ability to hit their citadel and deal significant damage. When attacking battleships, most damage will be dealt when targeting the casemates - the penetration won't be high enough to pass through the citadel's armor belt.

Ah yes, it was not enough for rockets to completely murder DDs and take large chunks out of cruisers, now CVs will outright be able to delete cruisers with just rockets and light touch of dive bombers.

Who even comes up with these ideas?

Please tell me this is an April  fools event. So you now have he rockets to [edited]dds and ap rockets to [edited]up cruisers. It will become  world of cvs and bbs

So, you can make an dumb error, and instead of Fixing said error, run with it, declare it a feature AND then dial the scope of this error to Eleven...thousand. :Smile_facepalm:

The only understandable way to fix rocket planes is to remove them, the actual model is too monkey proof and easy to use. 

 

Like, how are devs coming up with such ideas? It's like they never play (or care about) the game at all.

Ok, you gotta tell the guys at WG HQ to stop smoking / drinking whatever it is that they are doing... i guess 10-15k volleys against Cruisers with 40k HP is not enough, need to be MORE devastating... REALLY?

How about some Rockets that can only [edited]BBs and CVs, but i guess that doesnt work when peoplen in charge are CV/BB mains who have to pamper their own wet fantasies.

Or... they play only 2 classes. So their hate against the other makes them come up with all this stuff. Now it shouldnt be hard to guess which 2 and 2 im refering to, right?

Because DDs are already going extinct. Now it's the cruiser's time.

 

Also, regardless of how much you tell WG to not do it, it will be implemented and it will be crap. You know it.

They don't play CV. Which is why they have no idea how to balance those.

Must have been a russian WoWS DEV, cause Abbott and Costello, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, as well as the Marx Brothers are WAY too intelligent to come up with such a idiotic idea.

This is what happens when a game DEV loses it's Connection to the Player base and starts Looking at numbers exclusively. 

Spread shiet says it's fine. Spread shiet says, we can squeeze out even more Profit. Spread shiet will fix all our woes.

The game has completely different problems when there is a "class" with a 43% player base.
And no, the 43% Playerbase has nothing to do with love or history for battleships.:Smile_hiding:


Shows me a game where there are such big differences in the classes.

Why don't you start there first, for example with the withdrawal of the flooding nerf.
