“Legendary!" "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”

While I don’t mind the Foxtrotts I don’t see why they are a “legend”

Could fit the game though as they are roughly comparable to XXIs

Is this a prelude to Russian submarines that are as "balanced" and "historically accurate" as Smolensk ?

I think Google Translate doesn't work as it should in English to Russian. It translates word FANTASY to LEGEND.

I'll have to notify Google.

Yet again a poor use of the term Legend, I'm all for videos of museum ships but a very questionable decision putting it in a Legends video.

WOW, the Foxtrot class was in fact a floating battery as they designed it to stay under for as long as possible by taking over much of the internal space for batteries. This made it slower than other classes.

Wikipedia states the following regarding the Foxtrot class during the Cuban Missile Crisis

The Soviet Navy deployed four Foxtrot submarines to Cuba. US Navy destroyers dropped practice depth charges near Foxtrot subs near Cuba in efforts to force them to surface and be identified. Three of the four Foxtrot submarines were forced to surface, one eluded US forces.

I guess WOWs is rewriting history again by claiming the boat as a “legend”, but then again "legend" when used as a noun means " a traditional story sometimes popularly regarded as historical but not authenticated. "

There's a Foxtrot, rusting slowly to pieces in the River Medway.

I'm laughing at the idea they're legends

More  like Leg ends

Whiskey on the  rocks is a more notable Sub. S-363.

but then  it  isn't a 'Hero' of the Soviet Union.

B-413 clearly Legendary,  for managing to sail from point A to point B back to A again and not sink.

Ah yes, the Foxtrot, a ship so legendary that we towed ours ( B-143) to the breakers last year because there was little interest in it anymore as a museum.

Then again: it was actually built and didn't collapse on itself, which is a legendary feat for Soviet shipbuilding.
