Hey;

 

So, I'm considering getting this for PS4. I understand that there are quite a few differences from the PC version, namely (among other things), that some of the rare ships are actually available to win / buy.

 

Is this correct?

 

If so, then which ones?

 

Also, is the game worth buying?

To answer your question :

Belfast is currently unavaible to buy/get on the classic World of Warship. 

But you will have less ship avaible in Legend, game worth it ? Don't know never try, you should check some vid on youtube and make your own mind.

The game is for free, isn't it? So you can easily try it out - main difference is that Legends is even more arcade, just T1-T7 etc, no forums but discord...

I don't know if it's free or not, I will have to check.

 

I believe that it's available to download for free, or can be bought for cash, which would include a number of ships. The "Firepower deluxe" version, for example, includes Kamikaze, Texas and (I think) another ship.

There is no T8-T10. And base-game and to play is for free. Just, as here, premium-content (and ships ofc) etc can be bought.

The main playerbase and the best are here. If you want to play seriously then use PC version, if casually then it's Your choice.

I started playing it but as I couldn't disable the feedback vibration on the controller at the time, I stopped.  Also, they seem to have made it more "arcadey" on purpose and made odd UI changes compared to the main game, so I stayed with PC.

There's no paper ships since it only goes to tier 7, captain skills are a lot different as well.

Reading some of the comments in the microsoft page for Legends, i don't think its a good idea for you to play Legends OP. Your money though.

its a shame its so far behind the pc version and you know they are drip feeding the players in order to milk it for everything they can  because they could adopt the new modern warfare tactic of crossplay and then have all 3 formats duking it out against one another I have so many friends who play it on xbox but will never play against me as theres no way they are going to pay for a pc
