I don't see anywhere the compensation in doubloons for 'London'.

As you probably know the players that will buy 'London' for 20 euros is so they can have a bit more relaxed grind into obtaining the RN Legendary Captain but they still want a compensation once all directives are finished.

I've read the article and used the 'Find...' options but didn't find anything relevant to this.

Thanks for that. I still don't see that in the article and my 'find/search' options can't find it either.

P.S. And it still doesn't state the amount of doubloons being compensated, does it?

Well, I'd expect it to be in the article about the 'London' being for sale in the Premium shop.

P.S. Still not stated the amount of doubloons being compensated.

Actually compensation information is usually easiest to be found in the related premium shop description.

Compensation: If you already have this ship in your Port, you will receive 5,500 doubloons as compensation.

but imho one has to to distinguish two different cases:

buying the ship from the shop after you earned it with the directives OR buying it from the shop and do the directives afterwards. The description in the shop covers the first case, but not necessarily the second case. For example the ARP ships: if you buy a ARP Kongo in the shop after you did the mission for it  >> doubloons as compensation, if you buy it and then do the mission >> credit compensation

That's why I took the directive article as the "place to look", not the shop :Smile_honoring:

The missions at a glance don't look bad, I bought the London because it suited me and the grind is now just an option, Just a couple of moans, The range on these ships is really punishing specially as the tiers get higher and as a Brit from the Nprth of England You could have called it ANYTHING but :etc_swear:London fgs :Smile_facepalm:

Its all very interesting BUT YOU KEEP refusing to put the dome of St Paul's in the London port which ought to be clearly visible just to the north of Southwark bridge. You did not, however miss the dome of St Isaak's at the St Petersburg port, one kilometer away from the point of view, did you?

:) Well, I had to find something to nag about...

Can I approve this? I guess it would sound strange, especially to my dear @MrConway but offering 'London' for 19 euros in order to get additional tokens and then being able to get 5,500 doubloons once the directives are completed sound quite a good deal. I'm not taking it but that's irrelevant.

The 5,500 doubloons cost pretty much the same in the premium shop and they would come in handy sooner or later.

Especially with the fact that you don't need 'London' to complete the directives and get the main prize but it does make it easier and you can skip some of the daily missions and play more relaxed.

+1 (believe it or not)

Due to the outbreak of war HMS London was the only county-class cruiser to receive that extensive modernisation, so if Wargaming wanted a premium ship that looked different from the other three in the game then it makes sense, to me, to chose the ship that did actually look that different. I suppose that as they were ordered, suspended, and cancelled as a pair (so it seems either ship's name would have been as valid) you could have complained that the techtree Tier VII is Surrey rather than Northumberland though. :Smile-_tongue:

Well, I'm not a Brit, but I was hoping for the Norfolk, though that's a different County sub-class.. maybe it still comes one day.

It would be better if the Armoury got updated with fresh ships to purchase for doubloons. There is little use for buying doubloons if you can hardly spend them on useful stuff.

And Katori (7500D) & Dreadnought (14000D) or both for 30500D... 2 T3 portqueens that can't be used for anything in this game because missions start at T5 and the sky-police patrols T4. I honestly don't know if this is an offer or an insult.

Definately an ilsult. Or trolling. But WG is good at trolling. We already know that.

They just simply think we are all idiots.

OK, I have to say at first I was oh OK, perhaps something worth looking at... and then went into the shop and ...:cap_haloween:

Honestly I don't know who is pulling this kind of ... defecation, but you need to sack that brainless being ASAP. At this moment in time ships from Tiers 2-4 should be given away for free (and I have most of them, so not trolling for free ships) after you spend enough time playing the game or in Supercontainers with 90% drop chance. T2-4 are totally worthless in any capacity and not worth more than nothing which you proved yourself WG, with this "awesome" offer.

What saddens me is the ignorance of old players and only catering to newer players. No doubloons if you have these ships.. Now that's an awesome gift... If you have a ship you get no discount in bundles anymore... Disappointed as always 😢

WG doesn't want money from established players, we remind new players how low the company has dropped.

Poor Old HMS Dreadnought. Castigated and Besmirched, thrown into a game at a level infested with CV's built when Orville and Wilbur were still trying to get things together in Kitty Hawk without even a Pea Shooter to defend Her self, when ships that were just doodles on a scrap of paper   could bring down a Carrier Wing of F18's. Maybe a little self defence surely we Brits could have bought some Russian AA to put on her at least. So Sad :cap_rambo:....:Smile_sad::Smile_sad:
