Yeah, I know the title sucks but I don't have any better at the moment.

 

I'd like to believe I'm tripping right now but I don't do drugs and I don't even drink alcohol so there must be something else.

 

I have a bad feeling something is terribly wrong with WG code.

 

I just accidentally noticed that the special flags from the SC was never added to my assets. In fact, I suspect that the number I obtained was reduced from the number of flags I had before opening the SC.

 

Alright, these are my flags at this very moment...

I don't use them often, especially not the 'Special' flags. And since I usually obtain a couple of each, at the same time.. I usually had a pretty close number of each special flag.

 

I might not even noticed anything if I didn't opened 2 SCs yesterday and 1 SC today.

 

Yesterday I got 50x "Basilisk" special signals (besides 50 camos which are irrelevant for this story) and today I got 50x "Dragon" special signals from the SC.

Then when I checked (not even sure why), I've noticed that I have less than 100 special flags of each (Basilisk and Dragon) even though I was expecting over 150, closer to 200.

 

I'm 100% sure that I didn't have only 36 "Dragon" special flags and only 47 "Basilisk" flags before opening the SCs but significantly more.

 

I seriously suspect that the game instead of adding 50 flags, took 50 flags away from my assets. So I believe I had 136 "Dragon" flags and then I should have gotten another 50 from the SC, making it 186 (136+50=186) but instead I'm left with 86 "Dragon" flags (136-50=86).

 

I will open a support ticket but the purpose of this thread is to see of anyone else noticed anything similar because this can't be happening to one client only and I find it odd that nobody else noticed anything (even though I noticed by accident and god knows how many times it happened before this).

 

I don't need anyone to agree or disagree, flame WG or me but just write IF you have noticed something odd related to this or in case you notice something the next time you open a SC.

 

 

P.S. I have just checked each and every ship I have in case I left "auto-resupply" enabled but there isn't a single ship that has any special signal on "auto-resupply" so that's out of the question as well. I'd know that anyways but just checked to be 100% sure.

 

Additionally, I'm pretty confident that I haven't used almost any special flags at all. I say "almost" because I did use just a few "Ouroboros" special flags to get more freeXP from some operation few weeks back. Other than that I probably didn't use more than few flags since I started playing and collecting them.

          If you really suspect something is wrong feel free to open a customer support ticket, they could look into it to see if something is indeed going on.

That's a great idea actually. Give the daily rewards chance for a "Void container" which will substract your flags and camos.
Now that would be an engaging mechanic! Imagine the suspense when you click "Try your luck"

Yes and if you have Missouri chances are way higher that this ship is removed instead of your Genova!

We need a container with negative doubloons. It's possible to get below 0 doubloons, into negative values, in which case you owe WG and you have to pay them. Until you do, your account is marked in red color to indicate you are in debt; while this is active, your entire ship counts as a citadel, even if you're a dd, and your captain skills don't work. If this doesn't make you pay, well, then a pair of strapping young fellows come to talk to you personally about the issue. They do their convincing by blasting hard bass, so the neighbors can't hear the screams.

That is actually not true, but we are not allowed to discuss support on the forums.

 

@Palubarac I suspect that I have gotten a SC by game error, but I am not allowed to discuss how it was handled by support. Well actually it was not handled so there is nothing to discuss.

Really strange, well as I usually spend the super econo flags as soon as I get them I am at 0 risk of encountering said issue, as for your predicament aside from raising a ticket and in case of shifty behaviour of the support posting the ticket number on the thread for feedback and/or PM one of CM I dont know ehat else you can do...

I'm more interested in the fact you got 2 supercontainers so soon after each other. As for the flags, I'm fairly sure you're misremembering because if you don't use the flags that often how certain can you be on what the exact values were before the super containers...unless you are an accountant with a disorder and spend every day tallying up your flags?

 

Good luck resolving this, but I suspect you are misremembering and becoming a little neurotic about it. They're virtual things that don't count for anything and you say you dont use them anyways.

I got 2 from the USN campaign ("Hit Hard! Hit Fast! Hit Often!") so there was only one dropped from "being lucky", after a very long time and that "being lucky" is something I'm starting to question now, more than ever.

The customer support is terrible but I'd say this is not a minor issue. They can easily check this and I'm sure I'll dig some screenshots and screen recording to prove it and then it would be straight theft, besides lying, manipulation etc.

 

The support usually replies within half an hour or an hour. It's been almost 12 hours and still no reply which stinks even more.

 

I can't be 100% sure how many I had but as I said - I'm 100% sure that I didn't have only 36 "Dragon" special flags and only 47 "Basilisk" flags before opening the SCs. I don't use them but I was getting them pretty equally from different missions, participating in the PTS etc.

 

I don't use them now but that doesn't mean I don't care about them. I don't use them because I plan to stack them when I go for the RB or whatever, which is quite far from the place I'm standing right now having only 2 grinded lines in total.

There are event logs for everything that happens, so they should be able to answer this for you. But I think is what you will get is a boilerplate answer for something completely different and a closed ticket.

What is not true? And yes, you are allowed to discuss your experience with support. Who told you you weren't? What you're not allowed to do is share private correspondences with support, as in screenshots of the ticket.

I have had similar experience that I was answering people questions, it was measured in how fast I replied. Not if it was any good. So support is doing exactly same thing as most things arise because people are too lazy to RTFM. In 95% of cases the general answer is good one. Other cases will come back. When it comes back then you have to take a closer look of what actually is the case. In my case that did not happen. As stated above by @Aragathor each next reply is even more nonsensical than the previous one.

I got like six answers before my ticket was closed, and not single one of them was anywhere close to the question I have asked.

          If you are not happy with the response(s) you get from support please feel free to PM one of the WarGaming staff and they can look at it and give you a response or forward your issue/ticket to their support specialist. Either way, the WG Staff can also help you if you need it.

Maybe there is a bug.

 

When I finished last month's "hard" daily missions, I didn't notice any sign that the special flags had been added to my account - no notifications, in "notifications" or "rewards received" panels.

 

Of course I don't habitually count my signals before and after an event, so there is no way to tell what happened.

No. I have wasted enough time. I filled the ticket and I was ignored over and over again. I will keep the Dunquerk that I received from the SC that I should not get at all.

So your problem is you got a Dunkerque from a Supercontainer you weren't supposed to get? That's a win in my book...

 

Regarding support, you don't want to sort out your issue anymore then that's fine it's your decision to make. But don't complain about customer support if you get a response you don't think is acceptable but then don't let WarGaming know. As I said you can do so by PMing one of the staff on the forums or replying to the support feedback thread here

I like that idea, a "Russian Roulette" option where the reward could be extra high but if you lose you actually lose some assets

In Russian Roulette you don't lose 'some assets'. You lose ALL assets...

 

And I agree with you. There are definitely not enough gambling mechanics in this game...

In theory you should be 100% correct.

 

In reality, you couldn't be more wrong.

 

As stated numerous times, the support is useless most of the times and that's a fact the majority of players can vouch for.

 

Also PMing the staff is like playing a ping-ping. And I'll tell you how it works, based on my very experience (I can post the exact replies and proofs but that might violate some rules so I'll just write it, for now)

 

1. You bring up an issue in the forums either because you want to hear if some other players have the same issue(s) or because someone will gladly point out that you're a noob and don't know how certain feature works

2. CMs, Mods or someone else advises you to open a support ticket which will be handled "promtly"

3. In the support ticket you spend XXX days (last time over 2 months for me) talking to the guys who have no idea about the game and are employed just to be slightly better than automated bots replying

4. If you're lucky, they call some "specialists" which I believe are the same guys, just taking 2 minutes to actually read what you write in the tickets as they previously ignored everything and sent a useless template instead which has nothing to do with the ticket and your issue

5. Ultimately, when they cannot fix the issue... you know what they tell you? To go on the forums and ask for help. 

 

And the loop (or as I call it "ping pong") continues. Only this time you're fed up and give up on it, exactly as they were hoping for since the very beginning.
