I've got 2 New Zealand clan mates who are unable to load the game or access the website.. basically same problems we all experienced yesterday. Anyone have any ideas howwe can get them playing again?

I have submitted a ticket on their behalf but Im hoping by posting it on forum we can get this resolved  quickly.

Running a pingplotter (?) should help to identify where things are going wrong - it should be able to identify which server along the way is the issue.

Thanks for the answer mate. Unfortunately I have no idea what a ping plotter is or how that would help. Do you think something like a VPN might work?

Pingploter is used to trace the route between yourself and the WoWS server.   It shows how many servers are used along the way.  All pingplotter will do is identify the server that is causing problems.

Have a look at this page:  https://eu.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wows/category/25306/#category_25811

Under troubleshoot and reports there are two pages

How to run

https://eu.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wows/article/10252/

How to interpret

https://eu.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wows/article/10617/

I don't think a VPN would help - unless for some reason somewhere along the way there was some software that restricted access from certain areas (like you can't gamble on containers in Belgium)   I think all VPN does is pretend you're some other country than you're really in.  The connection between your location and the destination remains the same.

When I was in the UK there were several times that a server that belonged to BT was having issues.   I did contact them and was told by an engineer that the problem was being fixed.   Bit the next tie that happened i got put through to BT India - I was having an on-line conversation with them and they suggested turning off the home hub.  When I asked if this would terminate the connection we had they told me "we know more about your account than you do"......
