Because People have too much Dubloons after the Xmas Event and would use it to buy crates. 

There is no Profit for WG this way, so WG decided to not put them in the armory this time and have People use their credit Cards.

i bough just 1 beacuse i tend to do that, then i can say i atleast had the chance to winn but just 1 ! i got 20 k free xp so i guees i got my money back!

Literally no ships dropping from containers. Got 4 normal from mission and 11 premium  and not a single ship.

Bajie and Siliwangi (and special camo for Siliwangi) from premium containers. And Wukong from a normal one (as PTS reward) before. But more wasn't possible since I had all other "special content" already from last year

Bought 20 premiums (bundle), and got all three ships (plus special cammo for Silly) plus a few hundred doubloons and a couple of weeks of premium (plus the usual cammo and xp things).

 

I'm pretty confident that I was lucky though...
