Too many DDs means game is over before CV have time to incluence it.:Smile_teethhappy:

 

Learned that once in a ranked game with 6 DDs each side and 1 CV (me).

Well, as you asked.

 

A single CV can spot them all and destroy them Or at least destroy most of them and make the game miserable for what stragglers are left.

 

How do I know? It's what I do best :cap_haloween:

You should be thankful there were only four: once upon a time DD parties (50% or more of each team) were quite common. I actually enjoyed them, even when I was still pretty bad at target prediction, and maybe that's why I still keep a "gunboat" build in my IJN torp DDs. Apart from that, they weed out themselves faster the more there are, although it's not very pleasant being in the team with the expired glyphosphate.

games with high amounts of dd and no CV's are aweful , just loleboats sitting in thier stealth fields hurling walls of skill about ill they eventually get lucky.

Of course you can! The OP is implying that the DDs aren't dying fast enough.

that's only true on lower tiers, on hier tiers with all the radars you send torpedoes from 10 km away and hit ratio isn't high with or without CV, and BBs shoot over 20km and usually hang far behind

What exactly? It doesnt matter how many there are, played correctly you can kill them by simply keeping them spotted one by one.

 

No DDs, especially at Tier X, are the reason this game is dying. People who like playing DDs are moving to the lower tiers, hence overpopulation and overall inbalance in the game matchmaking being an issue.

 

Then it becomes a case of the stealthier cruiser team winning 9/10 times - or who whoever has more Stalingrads. :cap_old:

I mean I get this is a wind up thread and probably meant as a joke but really more DDs just means more food for a hungry CV to play with.

there is a way to play DD in every tier. Even if CV focus on u or face a radar.

well, with more u have a problem...

if with CV u dont know that u have to spot DDs for your team, then play something else.

Actually it was in my Hakuruy in ranked season 12. Each team had 7 players: 1 CV and 6 DDs.

 

After 5 minutes, only the enemy CV was left alive. When 6 DDs focus fire 1 DD, that dd go down in < 10s.

Add smokes everywhere and the windows to even see a target before it smokes were close to non-existent, except for the first minutes before surface contact.

 

High count DD games tend to be very fast and explosive, regardless of tier.
