Tons of Coal with nothing to spend it on..

I've got about 350k coal now with nothing to spend it on. Do you think they will release some decent DDs for coal anytime soon.. I do eye up Thunderer on occasion but apart from Massa and Lenin which I do ok in I'm not really a BB player. I'm certainly not spending it on a captain, well at least not 175k of it. 

 

So yes are there plans for further coal ships (DDs) in the future does anyone know of?

All those Santa's crates I bought where I did NOT get Benham or Fujin. I did get tons of 12k coal drops LOL. I bought the Smol with coal already and this is what I have left over. So far in my few games in her I am totally clueless ROFL. I play it too much like a DD is my problem. I'm a DD main at heart and not a cruiser or BB player.

tbh get all coal ships you can, as they tend to make some of them rare, especially if its like the smolensk, that will end up being a rare ship only obtainable through crate drops, possibly thunderer aswell

 

I have them all except the thunderer which im getting today.

Yeah I did think that but would be pissed if they then released Benham for Coal right after i've done that LOL. So I wondered if there was any hint on the vine.. If I could play Thunder as well as I play Lenin ill be happy but I did rubbish in Kremlin so am wary..

The fujin is one of my favourites and difficult to get, even in crates!

 

the Benham won’t come back btw, it will stay like Belfast and fujin and kutu etc

This is why I spent WAY too much real money on mega crates only to realise it's gamed and I need to spend another 500 to 600 quid to get through the 28 crap ships I'm still missing before I get to a chance of getting Fujin. I stopped spending at that point.

 

I did get lots of coal and doubloons though and over 1500 camos plus other T5 and 6 crap ships I don't even want. Spent some of the doubloons on PR boosters as I had loads of them too.

Yeah your right, how it works is once to have all the low tier crap ships, when you get a ship container and you already own that ship it will re roll, so if like me this Xmas, it always re rolled

to give me a tier 9 or rare, this Xmas I got

belfast, Massa, fujin, Georgia, azuma, all cvs, hood, Wichita, tirpitz, and a few others and all I bought was 8 Mega, the rest came from Xmas containers, I got the Georgia from the mega crate from the pay to Rico campaign the others were snowflake containers, I have like 28 tier 10’s I think so I got a good return from them

I just checked and I spent £500 on crates as an xmas treat and didn't get what I wanted poo. I did get loads of other stuff though hence all the coal. I'm just not prepared to drop another £500 quid only to keep getting T5 and 6s. Im 30 ships shy still out of their list before I get to the good stuff. I even did a sheet to figure it out LOL. I was getting 3 ships per container on average.

Yeah if rng goes against you, you are a long way from getting the ships you want in a re roll of the container...

 

ive been lucky enough to get all those low tier ships over the last couple of years so this year I got all good stuff and my drop rate was unusually high, not complaining though 😂

Kami is just a Fujin

GC is filthy, but considerably less filthy than the Imperator Nikolai (which is mostly a Okt Rev one tier lower and no superstructure to burn), and lacks MaccyD camo scheme

Gremy isn't the OP monster everyone (Zathos mainly) seems to think it is. It's alright, but nothing amazing.

The funny thing is they don't understand a player like me at all. Had they given me a sniff of a decent ship I would have spent £1500 on all of them. Pissing me off was not the right thing to do in marketing terms.

 

Don't get me wrong I did get loads of stuff and loads of coal. I also got tons of gold some of which I spent on PR boosters. So not a totally bad story. I'm not crying about it. It is the way it is. They could have implemented it in a better and fairer way though. I don't think they think things through to be honest.

I have 250,000 Coal sitting about and have decided that none of the the current Tier IX or X ships in the Armory appeal. I am hoping that the Siliwangi, Paolo Emelio or Marceau are made available that way... it really is time there was a Coal DD about the place.

Siliwangi is T8 so probably cash/dubloons-only, but Paolo and Marceau are what i am waiting for too.

I also spent a sh__load of money on crates, I did get the Fujin and Benham

(pretty much have all the rest except for PR and the expensive steel ships)

 

Hopefully WG will invest these funds in more fun and engaging content
