Complete for 35 000 Dubloons

everything is very expensive for a game and WoWs isnt even played by millions to justify wanting be unique among many. I bet many will cry for the dumb spent money when the game dies me included

I think the gold price may fall depending how close you get to completing the progress.  I'm not sure what it will reduce to though.

 

The crazy grind put me off worrying about it to be honest.

this was my thought as to why ppl bought the boosters first.  could you not just buy the finish now?

The more you progress the less you have to pay, or you can buy the ship now straight but for full price, witch tbf in my opinion it aint worth half of that, my 2 cents

Presumably people thought that 18,000 doubloons invested early would get you the value of 35,000 later on. 

 

It was all a bit complicated, really.

Even at the start when you bought the 3 boosters you got the option to pay another 35k. So in total it was 59k dubloons. Taking into consideration that some people bought 95k+ dubs to convert into free exp and then get the Colbert/Ohio - WG thought that "this is way cheaper". Oh well....

It doesn't show untill you reach stage IV. At stage V it falls to 25k and at stage VI to 15k.

You need three premium boosters and the directives 1-4 completed to get it for free.

But did the 4th directive have to be completed by a certain time?   I seem to recall timing was important.

As with all directives, asap if you wanted it for really free. 

With premium boosters I unlocked it yesterday having completed directive 4 one day before directive 5 became available. 

 

After 4 days of heavy grinding, I still not managed to complete directive 5, which will be done today I think.

Will not use it for sure. Wouldn't use it if it was half of that.

 

Once stage 3 is completed, after each next stage the price goes down 10k doubloons.

 

After completing stage 3, the price for getting the PR is 35k.

 

After completing stage 4, the price for getting the PR is 25k.

 

After completing stage 5, the price for getting the PR is 15k.

 

After completing stage 6, you get PR "for free".

Not at all. I bought the 3 gold boosters and didn't even need directive 3. It was enough to grind daily missions and get the first 2 directives. Then I could buy the first 3 regular boosters, that was enough.

 

In fact, directives 1-3 in a timely manner, daily missions, plus 2 gold boosters would have been enough to get the PR.

Honestly the grind was ludicrously easy with 3 gold boosters. I basically wasted 10k gold for the last booster, didn't even need it. Seriously, 2 gold boosters plus Gorizia was all you needed to get it done within a very short time.

Stage IV complete = 25k

Stage V complete = 15k

Stage VI complete = 0k

If I pay 15K doubloons, will I get all goodies that are obtainable in stage VI (i.e. steel, etc)?

I reached that stage on New Years Eve and thought it was so kind of WG to offer me the privilege of buying the Puerto Rico for 35k Doubloons as a New Years gift... needless to say I completely ignored it as it was just WG giving me the middle finger for deciding to no longer spend anything on the game for the foreseeable future...
