[NWP] Bear__Necessities Players 3,652 posts 14,315 battles Report post #1 Posted January 3, 2020 Indomitable. A short review. This CV has entered into a game in a state that beggars common sense. It has 2 strike options, compared to 3 which all other CV's get. And those strike options are purely based on fire and RNG. You have to hope you set fires, which have, as we all know been heavily nerfed. You have to then pray your hard earned strike isn't just repaired instantly as you have to go all the way back and start again. You can't AP citadel like Enterprise and IJN CV's casuing large damage numbers that are hard to heal back. You can't cause floods as you've been given no torps. Instead? You get underwhelming DB's and rockets that struggle to pen anything in your tier and above. And on top of all that. Fire Damage in theory is 100% heal-able.... meaning you just tickled BB's and maybe hurt some cruisers, but any with heal will still be ticking easily for minimal gain and lots of effort. Meaning what? You have to hope RNG is in your favour as you lack any alpha and serious strike power. In 24 games, I worked dam hard to even struggle getting respectable results. Compared top everyone's fav broken CV Enterprise the gap between influence and value is shocking enormous. I have NO idea what WG's spreadsheet showed but all I can say it was a spreadsh*t they must have been reading. However. I actually think this is how CV's should be. Strong with team work, needing patience to play and knowing limitations of the ships, your's and enemies inside out. CV's SHOULD be no more threatening that Indomitable or the RN CV line as a whole. But WG set the bar to a stupidly high standard with the likes of Enterprise, Hakuryu, Shokaku and Saipan. That means the Indomitable, a meh ship can only be considered bad to it's counter parts. It's has absolutely NO edge over Kaga, Graf Zepp, Saipan or Enterprise. The silver CV's of the same tier are also all better than this.... this thing. Game results and comparison to Enterprise to just see how huge the gulf is between the 2. Spoiler Also BoW. Don't even bother replying and derailing this thread unless you can prove your points. Somebody would expect bigger gap between total crap and one of most OP ship in game. If you were not carried by team you proved she can carry and wing game. Also if we look your other t8 cv stats she is not at the bottom not by wr or by dmg. Infact your Kaga, Saipan, implacable, lex have worst or similar stats.
