Narai Op. come in 2020 bugged

The Liberty nr.3 will go crazy ahead, and will not disembark troops, instead will charge the bots OR the same behavior, worse, with the repair ship;

The bug will occur at least in 1 of 3 games, if not more... This cost us a star, when the repair ship will not capture....

 

See for yourself what the bugged script do....

Repair ship goes on death sail IF some player blocks its landing zone.

 

In this case a BB parked right in its landing zone.

There are also instances when Missouri for some reason targets it right from the start.

 

In this game Missouri ignored every player and sunk the repair ship! (ok first it citadeled me, but that is another story):

I wonder if the cause of all these new bugs is the new CV Autopilot fixes which may have bugged out the Bots, because almost every Op now has these random "ship movement not correct" bugs which cause the game to either be lost or to drop stars?

Its already bugged for a while. Happened to us when we played Narai in division outside of the circle...

Yes, i wouldnt doubt that. Operations seem to be dead for WG, as it doesnt give them any income. More likely, they "lose" (i guess from their pov) some, when people grind credits/freeXP/CommanderXP in there.

The biggest "bug" with this operation is the people playing it. Been playing it the entire morning and without an unbelivable hardcore carry this operation is unwinnable simply because people are so bad its beyond belief. I just dont get how someone can be this utterly horrificly horrible at something and still keep playing

Hi @MrConway, @TheWarJaC, @WG_Lumberjack, @Crysantos etc - how about acknowledging that there's a problem here folks as it feels like WG are ignoring the very broken AI Autopilot in Scenarios which has been reported for at least a month and has effected at least 3 different Scenarios!

 

I mean after the Xmas dumpster fire, I'd think it'd be in WG's best interests to actually do something to make the playerbase happy by say fixing bugs like this, don't you think!

Also couple of weeks ago, got a survey from WG asking me how i like the game, and if i would refer it to other people, gave it a nice 1. Which is too much, i actually would tell people to NOT play this game :cap_fainting:

Same here, told 2 friends at work this month not to bother. I really do think there's a chance 2020 could be the year WoWS fails and drops to WoP levels of players, yet WG don't even see a single problem which is a HUGE blind-spot!

Bots use auto pilot.

It becomes painfully obvious if a bot gets close to the map border. Instead of riding it to finish a turn, they start reversing away from it regardless of angle of approach just like the "new and improved" auto pilot would.

 

Thus in extension you could blame the CV rework for this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Agree, if people would just use their brain, its as you say unwinnable at the moment.

usely i enjoy playing the operations but not at the moment.

things that i see in this op are.

2-3 ships going for the CV leaving the rest to die, and min one of them will die.

2-3 ships going for the transport where minimum one of them will get torped by the DD.

DD's that suicide in the first 5min, leaving the team 2 ships down.

Teams that completely ignores the chat and gives F... that its a team effort they only there to farm quick and then suicide.

 

 

Co-op is also kind of rubbish at the moment.

Sadly this is not new, and has been this way for the past three (?) weeks.

According to Lightninger, Narai got a version update when 0.8.11 rolled out, so it could be a combination of global AI pathing and WG tweaking.

 

WG has been a bit distracted with other things going on lately, coupled with their general neglect of pve operations, so like the weird bug in Aegis you may find that some games are messed up and there's nothing you could reasonably do.

 

In Narai there is still the option to kill everything for at least a three star win.

 

Reaching back there was a bug in Cherry Blossom that took them months to correct, and that was comparatively simple!

I dont think they want to do anything which gives them atleast some form of income. Like entire playerbase requesting spotting mechanic changes "we will do it in 4~ updates max - took like 7-8 ? updates :cap_fainting:

You know that Gorizia you got for Christmas? Use it. Italian Cruisers rip through Narai. All the irritating DDs and CLs just get mashed by a well placed SAP salvo.  You're only properly stuffed if you have inept Battleships who don't want to do BB things.

Like you said, the end phase red BB’s need to be taken out by either AP BB shots or torps aided by HE. Gorizia lacks all 3. And with the current quality of other players you have no compensating capabilities on the Gorizia.

Yes, but Gorizia is very good at mangling irritating Clemsons, Nicholas, Pheonix, Cambeltowns, etc, so you would hope the rest of the team would concentrate on shooting the things they are good at damaging rather than killstealing.

Perhaps operations don't give WG any money, but it sure does keep people playing.

If there were no more operations for me to play, what would I do?

Randoms would become too frustrating at some point relatively soon and sticking to coop only is too boring for me to relax in without having operations around.

And the events like Sunray, savage and filth, well those are temporary only and the space battles were not realy my thing.

Im sure, thats the reason why they dont put any efford into it any longer. Such a shame. We were promised, that Cherry Blossom and Dynamo would return. One year has passed. Also, normal and hard mode Scenarios were planned for how long actually? The button was already there. Nothing ever happened. The game overall shows signs of beeing unfinished at every corner, that doesnt generate money. And not only does it stay like this for years (!), its getting worse. Like the legendary modules for new ships and CVs. Or the achievements, that have been screwed ever since the CV rework. Also the campaign missions never changed after CV rework, f.e. some needed achievements that were practically impossible to achieve.

 

I dont know. I would be embarrased to have such a product in the open.

Convinced my colleague to try this out, like 2 months ago ( ex WOT player). He really liked WOWS............until he run into multiple dual-triple CV matches in T3-4. Then he said " :etc_swear: this ", and uninstalled.

 

Fun and engaging.

He was a good potential customer for WG ( less than 30, alot of time, good income, he dont mind spending on games he likes).

Don't get your hopes up for a fix, missions of no interest to WG, doesn't make them any cash.

 

AI bugs has been around now for so long, doubt WG have the coding skills to fix it !

Funny that putting resources into OPs would have been more productive than puting them into the failed CV rework and could have even resulted in greater sales (with some thought).
