What is going on with disconnects today - I got disconnected 3 times during the Ranked Sprint (and lost all 3 - of course)?

Could you send us WGCheck + pingplotter via a customer support ticket? We'll take a look at it and see if it's on our end.

Thanks but I don't think the that the problem is on my side... everything started with latest patch and intensified few days ago...

 

Here is what my PING looks like (100 mbit/s pure fiber optics) over the course of 10 minutes:

hey leo,

 

i don't think this will be enough for them to track it down. in my experience such occured for quite some time, mostly switching with the patches. so, this patch was fine, next was awful this-wise, next fine again. but that has been like years ago and not came up in that manner again ever since here. can only guess something flawed is back in the code, or rather the most likely case imo, something between u and wg which is out of control for either sides is causing problems. so, some net-knot/isp issues would be my bet.

 

if u want them to take a serious look into it i fear u'll need to provide what he asked for though, as there's no way (i could guess off ^^) ur ping would help to identify any related problem.

This is heppening in all types of battle and there is also random ping rates and ship stutters

while getting the random dc here and there, sometimes felt more frequently, i can't say i got the impression it's happen more often "than common" all in all on my end (some days fine, some gettin like 3ish). hope they can fix it 4 u guys

Hello , have an issues too
login1.worldofwarships.eu IP address is 92.223.24.95 and it has 100% packet delivery
but i got disconnections , and in log i always get this:

008375: 2019-12-29 13:18:04.472: ERROR: [Other] ServerConnection::onChannelGone(1292290): Disconnecting due to dead channel( udp:92.223.24.70:32800 )
008633: 2019-12-29 13:19:37.281: ERROR: [Other] ServerConnection::onChannelGone(1292290): Disconnecting due to dead channel( udp:92.223.24.70:32800 ).
009868: 2019-12-29 13:40:45.973: ERROR: [Other] ServerConnection::onChannelGone(1349772): Disconnecting due to dead channel( udp:92.223.24.70:32802 ).


i don't know what has an IP 92.223.24.70 (load balancer?) but probably this machine has an issues.

Playing a game with 2.5k ping is somehow... difficult. Even on a big ship orders should not take THAT long to be followed. :Smile_trollface: Somehow reminds me of the command stack in Star Wars Armada.

Getting thrown out of matches several times again today....including being thrown out of port (not just UI hanging for 10s, actually getting dc'ed).

 

I'd put it down to playing on WiFi, but I've never been DC'ed from port before.

 

Which log file should i check?

I m so mad rn about this matter I keep throwing stuff around the house and I think I will regret it come morning. I lost games I should have won and people got stars THEY SHOULDN"T have in a mode THAT IS SUPPOSED TO PREVENT JUST THAT!

 

 

FIX THE DARN SERVER OR ROLL IT BACK!

 

GIVE ME MY STARS BACK!!

Suggestion to WG: Do an off-line game mode vs bots. I don't care for XP or stuff, I just want to be able to play the game without crippling lag or outright disconnects.

2019-12-26 10:26:18.602: ERROR: [Other] ServerConnection::onChannelGone(805391741): Disconnecting due to dead channel( udp:92.223.24.141:32808 ).

2019-12-27 00:23:01.355: ERROR: [Other] ServerConnection::onChannelGone(939628925): Disconnecting due to dead channel( udp:92.223.24.106:32813 ).

2019-12-27 09:33:43.299: ERROR: [Other] ServerConnection::onChannelGone(805416191): Disconnecting due to dead channel( udp:92.223.24.112:32813 ).

2019-12-26 00:22:54.949: ERROR: [Other] ServerConnection::onChannelGone(940207970): Disconnecting due to dead channel( udp:92.223.24.101:32801 ).

 

Strangely enough nothing from yesterday in LOGs (i.e. 2019-12-28) and I was disconnected 3 times in Ranked and 1 times in port......

I've been having disconnects, started with latest patch. Cost me 5 stars in normal ranked season that just ended. It is like 1-3 disconnects per day.

Did a pingplotter session that did not show anything strange, still working on resolving the matter.

Hope next patch will fix it.

Sorry to hear that this is still bothering you. As Crysantos mentioned, the only way we can track down what is happening is if you contact customer support with the WGCheck and Pingplotter files.

If this was an issue related to our servers themselves the issue would be a lot more wide-spread and affect everyone playing. As it is not it must be a connection issue which we will of course help you to track down.

The issue is widespread, and it is on your end. Lots of people reporting this, all of them having a solid connection while being dc'd, all of them ever since the last patch - and I can confirm this myself, as well.
