Guys i would urge you all not to buy this years christmas presents.

i loved them all the last years bought more then i should have but this year i again bought a big bundle and i got 5 ships .... all 5 ships were T5 !!! you only get the LOWEST ship thats possible for you to get that you dont have, you wont get any T7 T8 T9 from it if you have any lower tiers (maybe if its in the container in first place but if u get a supercontainer because the other ship u already have uwill ALWAYS get the lowest tier possible ...)

it was NEVER this way before and is the BIGGEST nerf to christmas presents ever ...

 

do you a favor and dont buy this ... they rly went full banana

I have most premiums from tier 9 down but the premium CVs are preventing me from buying.

I actually didnt really care about ships as such, I have most if not all I want of those that can drop, for me the dealbraker was fact it seems you dont get steel SC anymore...

Had a bunch of dubloons to burn, and had luck with additional doubloon drops from crates too, which I just dumped into megaboxes..

 

drops of note:

 

- Belfast

- Enterprise

 

normal t8: Gascogne, Roma, Le Terrible

 

Some t7. The t6 drops blotted out the sun. And then Yahagi, Hill and Siroco at t5.

 

Overall, I guess I took your rng this year, guys. Sorry.

ok i had the middle boxes so maybe its from middle boxes u always get lowestt from mega u get higher ones ?

only idea i have that would work, i love that theys dont say it anwhere and [edited]everyone up xD

Three ships dropped from containers so far: Kaga, Lo Yang, WV 1941. And no I don't have all the Tier Vs (no Hill, Siroco, Yahagi, either of the Marbleheads, Texas). I'm also miffed I haven't had Dreadnought yet..... :)

Well I got 28 mega ones and 20 big. 

From the mega ones only 3 ships (Lazo, Marblehead L, and Viribus) but I got 12k dubloons and 360 days of premium. 

The big ones gave me 5 ships (Benham, Yudachi, Hill, Yahagi and Siroco) , 90 days of premium and only 1k dubs. 

So you get more ships in the big ones and more dubloons on the mega ones. That premium time..... 

I have now ALL the ships from the list. So I had a lot of T5s that I was missing . Some of my friends got Georgias, Azuma, GZ , Lenin... 

Grom the high tiers I was missing only Benham and I see more of them recently too.

This is not true!

 

Junior got a T-VII Yudachi from one of the small ones you get for playing your T-X it came as a super container. He don't even have 50% of the T-V on the list

I dont have Exeter, Viribus Unitis, Fujin, Marblehead Lima, Yahagi, and the Genova... So quite a few tier 5 that are frequently drawn. 

Bought a few small boxes, not even a single crappy tier 5...

Haven't spent any money at all this holiday season and won't be doing so.  The whole PR thing has been a massive turn off for me.

 

The tank boxes were better value, although they've added vehicles to the game which can only drop randomly from expensive boxes.  This is a bad development.

Since my little splurge on loot boxes dropped all the premiums I didn't actually want (don't look at me like that GZ...) I'm now only missing Benham and Friesland from "the list".

 

I now have an interesting "value proposition" calculation to make - i.e. is it worth buying a few more boxes in the hope of "forcing" these DDs to drop, or will the great WG Algorithm say "enough is enough" and hand me another hundred or so Frosty blinking Fir Tree cammos instead?

We don't know the drop rates as they are super secret. Supposedly, the Mega gift has the highest drop rates. However... I'm not advising you to gamble on this, but I wonder if anyone else has noticed that if you buy the full 20 at one go, you get better chances as opposed to buying 20 single crates or those 8 crate offers. Oddly, I also experienced better luck with in game crates you buy with doubloons. Go figure. But my impressions are subjective, they might not apply across the board.

Personally when I saw the carriers in the ship list I lost all interest in buying the containers.

 

The one premium I've gotten out of them came out of a free one, and it wasn't a ship I was particularly interested in <.< (West Virginia)

Real gambling either is fair regarding its chances, and/or lets you know what the chances are of winning something.

The OP has a point that the game is rigged in giving people (way) more low tier shitships than something actually worthwile playing.

It should be law that the drop chances are published for loot boxes, etc. I suspect that if they did we'd all see how pathetically low they are overall and this may affect their sales - I further suspect that the drop chances are rather dynamically altered from time to time without anyone knowing. My personal opinion, WG are not nice or good natured in any way, shape or form and all are guilty by association.

And I read somewere here that one of their mobile titles HAVE dropp chances publised.(duno if its the ship one,or the tank one)

So its should be on this one too...

There should be a checkbox for you have any interest of cvs at all in the game. Got gifted 5 containers by a subscriber and of course I got the Arc Royal!!!

Have never played cvs ever! 

So this is just one of many reasons why I never EVER buy crates any more, with my luck I would get 2 premium cvs more.....

I can't stand the camos, signals and flags coming out of them, i place little value on them. I dislike "consumables" in any game even. So my frustration would go through the roof opening such "worthless" loot for real money.

 

I am not against WG earning money for their work mind you, i do buy ships and premium time now and then. But i like to get worth for my money. Not rage.
