If WG ever add T11 or T12 than I could see H-44 added to the game. But putting a ship that is almost two times bigger then Yamato at T10 is very unlikely. Spotting distance. It would definately not be fun to play as every DD in the entire game would zero in on your location and missing the H44 would be nigh impossible. It doesnt fit into the game as is currently. My point is simply that the "no bigger guns than Yamato" is the same as all the other promises they made and broke. You cannot point at their word and believe that it is somehow sacred. Somehow some "super secrit documents" will appear at some point that show that Kremlin had a planned 470mm guns or something. Or they just make up what they want/need, there are enough fantasy ships in the game. If they think they can make some rubels with it, the promise will be broken faster than you can say "Kutznezov". 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

This sounds like that to me. Please no t11/12, and we've had enough ridiculous fantasy ships already. HOWEVER It would be a massive target that you couldn't miss. It would have the 4x2 turret layout - so only 4 guns useable if angled in / bow-tanking. One major reason why the FDG is such a pain in the bum. It would a massive target. It wouldn't have much more in secondary gun battery terms than the FDG or GFK. The armour wouldn't be anything special going by the design parameters (less than Kremlin where it matters - but lots of spaces that would eat pens all day long.) H41/H42 which resulted in the GK mashup were 305x42,8. H44 was supposed to be 345x51. Your picture seems a bit exagerated for a 15% increase in size... Point taken. What do you get for that additional size however? You still only get 8x main guns plus secondaries (which I think are similar to those on the smaller GFK). The overmatch for the main battery doesn't cross any worthwhile threshold over the IJN 18". They would likely have a LOOOOONG reload for balancing reasons, even if they did have a decent damage per shot. By the time you expand the armour scheme to cover the additional length you're still not getting much more protection in real terms. Having that old girl at T3 or T4 with a 1 RPM doomcannon would be quite funny. Like a floating death star. This thing as playable ship.....in regular rotation...? No....not gonna happen, maybe if it was Russian....who knows. Or maybe for future ship building thing, where you had x2 times harder missions for directives of the current PR, maybe even more of them in total, more expensive doubloon expansions and more expensive instant finished ship, maybe like 500+ $ overall.
