My thoughts exactly, most casuals spend money because ... surprise, they are casuals and as PR shows, WG isnt interested in locking T10 behind a skill grind as much they are in "not really selling" *wink* a T10, heck I have Alaska and how I got Alaska? it wasnt FXP thats for sure.

so... does that mean i finaly get my haku-legendary? i finished the mission, but never got it because "it was getting reworked" or something like that. that was like a year ago, i want to get my module!

 

also i currently have i think 8 legendary missions running, are you seriously just deleting those with no compensation? just give me equivalent research points and ill be fine. i personaly dont mind the transfer to the RB, i dont like T10 anyways. and the RB gives me a reason to replay the shiplines i enjoyed.

i sincerely hope that this business policy is [edited]ruin the company sooner than later.

 

hopefully you guys have enough whales to fund your life, as I am not willing to finance such a behavior anymore.

 

this game is now a 100% f2p game for me.

Why do you have to delete current progress on legendary modules? Can't you transfer the progress to RB? Maybe just grind T9 and T10 ships again if you have 1st 3 current legendary missions completed or something like that.

 

WG also stated this legendary missions will be going on forever, so to speak, but than again, WG also said they will never sell T10 premiums, so ...

I have 18 tier X.

Due to previously there being no timescale I have currently done 2 of the legendary modules, because I enjoy playing other tiers as well.

The remaining ships are somewhere between stage 1/5 and stage 3/5.

 

Quite simply I will not complete these for the remaining ships in the 3 month window.

 

I have no interest in re-grinding lines. I have no problem with there being unique stuff available via this method (ships, new modules etc), however by changing how these original modules are acquired has moved the goal posts.

 

This has left me with the unenviable position of;

1). Grind multiple hundreds of battles in a 3 month period. At a rough estimate I think it will take me approx. 1500 battles (takes about 150 per ship, need to do 16 ships, but most are part done)

2). Lose all progress and and re-grind them using a method I do not want to use.

3). Simply lose all progress and never have them.

They shouldn't force me to regrind anything. That's the Whole effing point of why People don't like the NTC.

And stuff that's moved to the NTC is stuff I'll never get.

I got no problems With special ships there, but no modules or Equipment should be put there…...ever.

On one side it's better and I like it. If I want to obtain LM I can play the ships and lines I enjoy to generate RP (3 months for 20k bonus is plenty of time to re-grind whole line) instead wasting my time with single ship I utterly despise, for a module which isn't worth the time and effort put-in. Not to mention hopeless value after unlocking piece of trash x y z. (Even selling them was total waste of time, that how worthless grind effort is/was - 2.5M! LOL) 

 

On the other it will significantly simplify LM acquisition and fully enable paying for it in a day if somebody want to dump 1000 Euro to convert FXP and buy Credit containers. If anything that is the main WG reasoning here, because with 0.8.11 debacle gloves are finally off.

A short update on this, I asked for clarification: Progress on specific missions wont be saved in a sense that you won't be able to complete them - they will be deprecated. But some sort of compensation for achieved progress will be there (in particular if you were really close to receiving one), the exact volume/procedure is still being discussed, and we will share the details as soon as they are finalized.

The only valid option here is to leave the missions as they are and provide the RB option as an alternative. Removing these missions regardless of their progress is not acceptable.

  • Research of ships in general (ok, first line need to be free)
  • Earning credits only with RB-currency

assuming that SSE is some short hand for legendary mission, that is just fine. as long as spent effort gets transfered/translated to the new system so noone looses anything(and i mean anything at all), it will be ok. people dont like change, but they get realy pissy when you delete untold hours of progress towards a goal.

@Crysantos  I refuse to reset any ship line I've unlocked on principle. The NTC is a terrible concept for players and enables players with deep enough wallets to straight up skip the missions via freexp. 

Having exclusive ships is bad enough but now you are locking gameplay features for tech tree T10s behind NTC.

 

Why is it impossible to keep the existing missions while adding the same modules to the NTC in the future? People would be fine with that.

 

This company is really going down the spiral of death.

That doesn't actually help when the problem is that the research bureau is a completely unattractive option for anyone who doesn't have too much free time on their hands.

 

Even if progress on a mission gives me enough research points to almost get the legendary module I was working on, that's not going to help when I'm never going to get more research points.

All that matters is how many legendary upgrades would we be able to get from 1 line reset?

 

I want to remind you that the PR pr disaster was caused completely from the numbers. Please disclose them.

based on the rough amount of battles needed to complete a legendary mission i would say 1 module for 1 reset prettymuch does it.

People really were very unhappy with the first proposed iteration of RB and I'm glad that you listened WG. This is basically a dumbed down version of what you were proposing before and definitely should not be locked behind the dreaded RB, if you insist on doing that then at least leave it open to obtain in other ways. We already have ships which can only be obtained via the RB that should be enough. 

 

What a way to end the year with everything which has being going on with the PR fiasco :fish_panic:
