Lost the will to play the game

After being a idiot and giving WG my money and trying to grind i just lost to play the game and im thinking of deleting my account  first the CV fiasco then the russin BB the the devil him self Smolensk and now the PR fiasco is just sad.

 

Edit: and now the LM fiasco :( wow keeps getting better and better :(

I know someone who got his prem boosters refunded. Tho, it wasn't exactly via customer service. He spoke up on reddit and Conway did it.

Take a break and come back in a few weeks, that sayd i understand because WG screwed up on a epic scale with the event by badly (or intentionaly) misinforming via test server values and live server values discrepency, with is hudge.

Yeah apparently it was mentioned somewhere that you can get the doubloons refunded if you spent them on the booster.

Focus on the free gains you actually get without focussing on the missed gains you never had in the first place. 
 

you receive snowflakes, free crates and through the build of the PR without bothering with the directives additional loot.

I dont mind paying the normal money and a normal grind but this is just not possible for a normal player how is not anti social :( and it will only dum down T10 even more.

I love the game specially my clan NBS a wonderful bunch of people but this event is just i have no words :(

As others mentioned, contact support, because if they are giving back the doublons for the boosters, then you can try to get that back, then take a break, forget this PR crap, and come back, and play at your own pace, play it how you want it and ignore the garbage events. 

Thats what i do, play the game at my own pace, i dont care about events anymore, and i couldnt care less about the 1 new shiny ship, since i got many others to choose from. 

Hell you can div up with me when im online if you need a meatshield

If WG doesn't come back from this, I will probably leave sometime next year as well.

They HAVE to at least apologize for this obvious scam. Doesn't matter if it was intentional or not.

And if this happens again, I'm gone immediately ofc. This is extremely bitter - I always regarded WoWS way more player friendly than WoT for example.

Same, even if they do the above im considering to not play their products anymore.

Not saying their games are bad entirely (i wouldn’t player 18k games on world of tanks otherwise), but im just sick of their business schemes and general direction for the game.

You know, it's not that its wrond, dishonest, dissapointing what WG do with these events, it's sad really, WoWs is a goid game, good concept, the art and modeling deoartment have some really talented people, however the way the company, be it the CeO, marekting, shareholders or whoever is responcible, make the events, missions and everything in between is sad, they taje a good team, goid concept and completly reck it because whatever the stupid reason may be. 

 

Edit: seeing players who at the begining were hardcore loving the game, loyal, the works starting to just be milked and seeing they passion for the game fizzling out, its just sad.

Yeah, the reason i left world of tanks was mainly a large number of things (plus just losing the will to play ingeneral) involving not just events but promises which showed to me i can barely trust the company with anything (seem to be right with that in some regards).

 

Dont get me wrong the art, animation, modelling, some of the events, a few of the mechanics, rigging and some other mentionables are brilliantly done. And i also have grown quite fond of the wows forum community more than that of my old world of tanks community (sorry to those who were from there lol). 

 

Recent events have been more of a trigger than the actual sole reason playing wurld of danks since 2012 (closed beta) till about 2018 and this game around the same time has allowed me to see a lot of cool things but also horrible disasters that even the community furiously would point out some if not most of the time.

 

I know they need money i understand that completely, however its how you make the money and what you do with it that can get peeps riled up.

 

Sad really, i loike miss georgia. If miss yorkie does make it in, i will play again and/or check to see the current state of things (want boogue back as well).

 

The dockyard is a really, really nice feature something i would like to see in uad watching your custom designs get built (yes pls) as pass turns in the campaign. Such a nice feature such bloody horrendous execution.

You don't have to delete account. Just take a break, you might wish to come back some day and not have anything due to deletion.

You can Refund the Boosters. Albeit they will deduct the Gold for the Santa Crates you got from them.
