Fellow member of clan bought 80 Santa's Big boxes and had 17 ships drop !!!! Seen live on by 4 clan players. Plus 180 days of Premium !!! I did 60 Santa's Big Boxes and have had ZERO (YES 0) ships !!!!! HOW is this possible .............. ??????????? If they were the regular Santa's Gift Containers (the brown ones) then those have such an appalling drop rate for ships that no drops from 60 is pretty standard. If your clan mate got 180 days of premium, that means it dropped from a mega crate as the big ones only drop 90 days (unless there were two drops of course). People on the forums and reddit have been compiling drop rates from the different containers. Seems to be about a 10% drop rate for ships from the big containers. If you buy 60 then there's a 99.8% (1 - 0.9^60) chance you'll drop at least one ship, however due to the way chance works there's no such thing as a guarantee. If you did buy 60 of the big ones, then you just got the 0.02% and were incredibly unlucky. Such are the risks of gambling. I'm sure someone will correct my maths if I'm wrong! Loot boxes are gambling and if you buy them you accept the possibility of getting nothing useful in return. That's it. Rigged? Even if they are.. do you have control over that? Didn't think so. When you gamble you accept all odds against you and you should be fine with the fact that the money you put on gamble is lost money. You can go to the nearest casino, put money or the same (or any) number 60 times and let me know how many times you won. THERE IS NO GUARANTEED PRIZE when it comes to gambling. Plus he got Kamikaze, Fujun, Loyang and Emp Nicolai amonst those dropped. This post is intend to make aware other players that 0 ships out 60 boxes is possible and has even more probability of happening than having 17 out 60 !! It's called gambling addiction, and you sir, seem to be an addict. You see people getting good stuff everywhere, but that's not what happens. You only get to see people getting good stuff. Lot of people (including me) got only flags and camos or whatever the from them, nobody wants to brag about that, so you don't see it. This makes it, for the casual gamer/buyer, easy to get duped due to say 'misreading' the fine print. It is something that is frowned upon in EU I believe but still it happens. Even though its probable to not get any ships its so highly unlikely that the reasonable explanation is not that you are unlucky but that RNG is not actually random but somehow manipulated.
