Well in WOWP when they tried this exact thing a few years back there was no refund. So chances are you pay money you get screwed if you do not complete.

 

The sad thing about this is directive 4 starts on Christmas day. This combined with the rather punitive measures of this grind has pretty much angered 100% of the community. Which is funny as the rework only pissed off 80% They could easily fix this problem. Its a simple fix and they have time to adjust it and actually make more money, but no rather then trying to make a profit they are instead going make this an elite exclusive. Pay us 200 to get the ship and bypass the impossible grind and you will be among the elite few to own a ship no one else has, that is worse than its t9 counterpart. All they have to do is keep the timer up till directive 4 then from directive 4 on they just add a few days and rescale the points per minute. It's actually not that difficult to figure out or code. WG won't do it contrary to the lie a certain WG employ told on Reddit along with veiled threats of civil litigation and expulsion from cc program.

There are also sh*t tons of free flags, camos, coal, steel, containers and also premium ship, researchable ships. Basically every in game item. So I'm really happy about it. I got 20 mega containers even I am a student in Turkey and planning getting 20 more in next month.

 

I also did my calculations and decided not to spend 14k doublon and try for grinding(if I had T6+ in every nation I would btw but I am kind of a new player(only 2k games)) but these calculations are differ than what I did. Am I missing something like when the counter begins will there be an automatic point generation(except boosts)? 

You piece of ????! WG has advertised in a way that everybody could achieve it, without spending money. There was even a picture posted by them, where the boosters cost 1k gold each. It was a totally false advertising by WG. PEOPLE LIKE YOU MAKE ME AND THE WORLD SICK!

You know - I'm not even mad at this point - I've learned to expect the disappointment and companies messing up with customers on the lowest levels possible.

 

The point is - this level of incompetence and disregard for customer should not be a gold standard. And it is.

Bloody hell mate you have almost 1000 posts on forums..... do you find all the bugs or are you calling out WG's bullship on forum instead of ingame chat to be chat banned 90% of time ingame.... We get containers with camouflages, with signals, with consumables, and coal. We get small amounts of steel. (I'll be dead before I get enough steel to buy a ship) and they tell us how generous they are? They have little value, as they are given away with daily missions, or other activities.

 

Any player who has played thousands of battles, has a sizeable stock of the majority of these things. So in effect Wargaming have given us bugger all for Christmas.

 

Did they consider the players who don't have huge amounts of games or premium ships? No! screw you, pay up, pay us for a gift!

 

In fact their entire idea of Christmas is Screw you, pay up, pay us for a gift!

 

Will someone please tell them in Saint Petersburg what the word "Gift" means, I think they confused it with "Grift"

Funny thing is, I quit WoT because of it. To much manure changes Active in Clan leading, recuitment, training etc.

Crossout from gayjing did this it in an announcement and patch. I played also quiet aktive Wartunder, planes.

 

I unilstalled Crossout same day, checked months if they rolled back their lie, never touched the game ever again.

 

I am now, a step closer to "Let it go." Again. My Steam library needs a dust cleaning.Already close to complete AoW3.

The biggest problem I have with this whole situation is that WG probably will just get away with this (again).

Yes people are outraged now and spamming the forums and reddit.....but sadly at the end of the day there will be a whole lot of people who buy into this shitty event and the premium containers.

 

The only reason for them to change something on the system, instead of giving out this joke of an apology is if it hurt them financially .....and apparently as of now everything (except maybe the outrage) is working as intended for them.

By the way - directives 1-5 have to be completed in first 3 days. Given how they don't completely work together... That is basically not possible anyway.

I honestly wouldn't have cared so much if you had specified in all the hype leading up to this patch that your "gift" in the form of a PR (a gift which requires either 100s of pounds or 100s of hours spent) would be extremely hard to obtain without dropping your wallet on it.

 

Instead, you used words and phrases like "simply do this" or "easily obtain" and advertised a much easier set of missions/dubloons required on the test server to completely mislead everyone.

 

Honestly, I don't give a damn if you want to try and sell TX ships or lock stuff behind paywalls. But I object to being lied to and treated like an absolute idiot.

 

And this? This is no apology - If you are truly sorry you would have done something about it. Actions speak louder than words.

 

And of course, the spreadsheet takes preference over reality once again. I thought EA were the lowest of the low....boy, this makes them appear like absolute saints.

Show that you care, and reduce the requirements by a huge margin.

 

This is the season for giving after all.

 

The wording and overall bad information about this travesty is the worst I have ever seen in my years of playing games.

 

What you had on the PTS seemed like a doable grind, and leaving time for family and other holiday related things. You had CC's like Jingles showcasing the dockyard and the directives there was reasonable, unlike what you guys pushed to the live server. And making the PR available only to the top 1% of the player base is extremely unfair to the 99% left.

 

Saying the Gorizia is meant for every one is a not true, since the driectives needed to get her is high aswell. You can throw away money to get her sure, but after this dumpster fire, I doubt many will. That and the fact that the silver counterpart, Zara, is better are also a thing.

 

iChase said it the right way, that the "apology" is not effective.

 

DO something right for a change WG, and throw us a bone instead of under the bus.

If I understand correctly there is a basic speed of 180 points per minute. 

on top of this there is the first free boost that gives 500K + 6 point per minute.
