Have £25 to spend in game

Ok a Aunt who can not understand that I am a grown adult (I am just slightly older than Jingles :) ) sent me some money for Christmas (not worth the argument any more to try to get her to stop) she insist I spend it on something for me and something fun, so I am doing so on WoWs (although fun may be questionable atm moment :) ). I am thinking of the following what do people think or can they think of something else (I will take "do not give money to WG" as a given).

 

A buy 8 Santa Mega Gift containers (least likely atm as I would explode if I got a load of cammo's)

B buy the Gorizia in the basic package (Plan to at least get it on mission so would get doubloons back and can do other missions and directives) this will not allow me to use current discount coupon for the Vanguard before the 26th.

C buy doubloons with or without prem time as this would also allow me to get the Vanguard with the discount coupon?

 

Thought I would make a fairly neutral thread in this flaming times :)

I'd say C, at least that's what I would do. 

 

Then get yourself a nice ship for the dubloons, maybe (part of) that Vanguard.

Doubloons and an armory ship are the way to go. 

Crates will. Just turn you insane. 

Gorizio will unlock next week or so for free if you complete the directive.

I would check out christmas sales on steam. WG doesn't deserve aunt's money atm. Also, according to CC reviews (don't own her myself), Vanguard is pretty meh, at least currently.

Was awarded Vanguard earlier this year. Thought that she was 'Meh'.

Recently dusted her off again and I have had to raise my impression to 'Okay'. 

Decent AP but don't expect her to overmatch much.

Handles 'well' but she is no heavy cruiser.

Personally I would not spend money on her, but I am not a BB person.

Possibly option D, Massachusetts,  you might not win every game but you'll laugh at only having to watch the guy on your left as your secondaries rip apart the guy on your right!  It's just fun!

I recently won a raffle on the Steam WoWs forum (worth £20 in game) and decided that I didn't really need prem time, ships, crates, etc.

 

With it being the season of good will, I had a chat with the guy running the raffle and together we found a charity in the UK that does some amazing work helping kids/young adults with disabilities to access games. They have now received a donation of £20. Having looked into it, there are such charities in many countries across the EU (though mine was in my home country), so this might be something to consider as a noble use for your relative's gift.

You already have Ark Royal? 

And doesn't matter which ship, it is a matter of "GitGud". 

If that is the one you want, well, get it and just GitGud.

Yea I got it a while back either from a mission or something (did not buy).
