Im away for the first two weeks of this but could buy boosters now... I would love to know the value of about 12k of boosters without playing. I don’t think id spend more than that. Those objectives are absolutely INSANE at any time of year, Nevermind Christmas! If I attempted to ignore my family over Christmas to even try a quarter of those objectives my kids would divorce me, not just my wife!!!! WG let me make it very clear - human beings expect some holiday goodies at the end of the year to be obtained easily by playing the game they like the way they would normally, they do not want a second job grinding like a chinese gold farmer. - its human nature to try and get the most out of such a special event putting up a reward that can realistically only be obtained by a small % will always feel bad for them especially when you turned it into a second job only to have people fail to get the reward at the end (this lesson should have been learned after the Kamikaze-R debacle !!!!) [PEZ] Yedwy Players 11,301 posts 39,576 battles Report post #362 Posted December 12, 2019 Under the risk of beeing the devils advocate here but you DO have effort free goodies - snowflakes and the stuff that is given to you from the dockyard and dailies, then you have the mission chains that give goodies if you decided to buy Gorizia, then you have the moderate grind to get Gorizia for free and lastly you have the megagrind for the most devoted to get the PR which can be made a helluva easyer if you throw some cash in the mix... The last part is quite like the Benham grind just its no special game mode you have to do it in but your everyday wows, I guess some people will have PR and some/many wont, I already know I will get her finished in time with mix of grind and gold same as I did Benham, as a tradeoff I wont be buying the Santa boxes this year and thats it... Heck i have the last week of december off and the first 2 of januari but even i am scratching my head if i want to spend the 24k dubloons and the massive grind if there is a chance i wont be able to make it. A shame really, but we all have a choice whether we participate or not. I am probably going to be working over the holiday, so I'll have to miss out.....in any case, that will limit my time and I am certainly not interested in blowing my brains out with the frustration fest this game has become.
