Minor installer bugs/quirks-Still, only the voice-mod preview sounds do work (not even that awesome Imperial Siren, that used to preview a while back). Weirdly, if clicking the "torpedo warning sound" column, it does play the Jaws mod. Some mixed up lines of code?-Explanation to "Smoke Screen Boundaries" refers to incompatibility with "Improved Chat", while there is no "Improved Chat" in game. Probably referring to "Coloured Kill Messages"-mod Suggestion/Ideas:-Is it possible, to set mod categories in bold letters? At this point, many people end up using loads of of mods, while others take long to "find" the 1-2 mods they are looking for. Bold categories would increase usability and accessibility a bit, I think.-I really find the idea of preset mod-configs worth expanding. Currently you included my "custom" config, "Compact" and "Full". Another option (if that is not already the idea behind "Compact") could be a "Performance" config. This preset would not include any mods, known to use up RAM or fps in any way, or might even increase fps (like smoke-remover seems to do... a bit). -To even further expand that idea (and maybe increase the reach of Aslain) you might consider including mod-presets of famous Youtubers or Streamers, as they get asked what their mod-configs are, regularly. Next time, they just may reply "Just DL Aslain and choose "Flamu's I Yell At People config" or "Jingles' I Laugh At My Own Jokes config". -Nitpicking -Review/reorganise mod categories. Not everything grouped in 1 category seems to fit in terms of function or files used. -Make categories able to expand/collapse to easier get an overview about used mods. As always: Great work! Really simplifies the use of mods and in the long run, mods becoming integrated into vanilla game. Thx and please keep it up! Aslain Modder 4,420 posts Report post #2033 Posted June 23, 2016 v5.7.0.01 (23-06-2016): - fixed installing Extended Tech-tree and better ships on ship carousel - these two won't work together for now - updated small HP bars by 0BlackSkull0 - updated contour icons: DeceasedDaisy - updated semi-transparent minimap by Autospy - since now Ziess zoom is compatible with Smoke Boundaries mod - there are still two issues I couldn't check because of the ban: 1. some maps has weird squares (artifacts) on the screen. 2 - corrupted battle ending screen with some missing/missplaced elements. Will report back if it is gone with that change. EDIT: Just encountered it on Strait, too. As for these mods, 90% cosmetic (some may say running lights is a little too much) and i look at it like when you move into a new house. Those that like magnolia paint fair enough, I like my own colour scheme so change the colour. The room still functions the same just that to me it looks nicer. Aslain, any help just holler. He's been providing Mod-packs since my very early WoT-days. 2012, if I remember correctly. So, one would expect him, to know his way around not get banned, as a working, legal installer and a mint reputation, are what makes people felt Aslain's as the reliable go-to-source for WG-mods. So there are 2 main options: -WG is right, he hacked, meaning Aslain got really stupid all of a sudden as he decided to gamble with his reputation -Or he did not use cheats and they did it for some other reason. Either way: It is way past the point, where WG needs to be clearer about what is allowed and what not (meaning: "this popular mod is not allowed, people"). As for damage counters, the one from monstrofil (that comes with stats and damage logs) is working (but nicknames on the "team pannels" dont show so I'm using old battle_stats.xml file).
