Anyone have Monstrofil stats working?  Tried it but in like 15 games they only show up on 2 games...

 

On replays they seem to always appear (though with everyone with 0%) but ingame either they dont show at all, or then they show and work perfectly...

Same here, it's probably their statistics server being overloaded?

yeah maybe... but if thats the case its almost case to say mod doesnt work lol  today only worked on 1 game the entire day

No change in mods, one time I get statistics in game ( like once every 20 battles ), then my ship names on minimap are there, then in the same game they are not. Any idea what causes this?

Yes... alt key changes if names in minimap appear or not... (not the best feature as everytime you press alt to see distance to target or flight time or to see player names you change minimap)

Thanks! I got alt battle interface so distance ect is always on so I don't use alt normally in game at all ( must have pressed it on accident ). 

 

The statistics is still unexplained though, I hope there is no key(combination) for that lol :D

But havent figured it out either... yesterday must have played like 20 games, stats only shown in 1 game... :amazed:

Also, use torrents if you're worried about MediaFire ( since yes, MF is a potential security risk ), it is very hard to impossible to inject anything in an existing torrent ( unless you can control all the seeds/peers ).

 

Even then it's pretty much impossible. You'd have to manipulate the installer, make a torrent out of it and superseed it.

Manipulating an existing torrent is impossible due to BitTorrent checking file consistency with hash checks.

Off topic I am quite sure that I read a paper which described an theoretical way to inject into existing torrents but as I said it required controlling 100% of the existing seeds and maybe even peers and it would still be limited in what exactly could be injected. 

 

But yes, BT protocol is inherently quite save, which is why I made the comment in the first place :great:

Seems to be the case, the xvm base of the minimap mod seems to include the win rate and avg xp ( I think, not even 100% sure what the number other then the wr is :hiding: ). But, I am not sure if it's intended or not to work for us, I think it might be kept in place because of shared functionality with other XVM parts but that it wasn't supposed to be active ( not even once in 20 games or so ).

No, because my WTR is around 1200 I think and my in game 'rating' was high in the 14xx's :) Really, idk what it is, Mister_Greek was > 1600 and had a different color then me.

(Maybe it works on RU cause mod is fetching stats from that website and it doesnt on EU cause its trying to get data straight from WoWs API... and there is a request limit...  ahhh I dunno just guessing)

Also you could always "use" stats by a 3rd party browser (just had to alt-tab during game to actually see them) only the stats inside game itself were "not working"

Hmm, I might be mistaken. But wasn't there at one point a mod in the pack that made the ARP ships symbols glow?

 

Or am I thinking of a completely different mod?

WG did indicate quite clearly they were not happy with the effect of showing in game statistics ( because it 'increased toxicity' according to most ).

Indeed, and I had gotten the impression it was an outright ban.

That mods use it again seems to explain some comments I've been seeing in chat.

We should be able to hide our own stats in WoWs from public, so it should be ok with this mod.

 

True, I strongly support this approach rather than outright saying statistics mod is a nono but I'm not sure on the official stance right now. I've tried to find out, but I've yet to get an answer :(

Ow Aslain, do you have any insight if it will be possible in the future to combine minimap with the smoke circles mod? The latter has been updated and it's stable now ( and only shows circles within 3km!!! ) but there is one conflicting pyc file and I can't get it stable with either one using the two mods. I also don't think just trying to decompile both and add missing functions to one combined pyc will work due to signing so I guess the developers have to make them compatible with eachother themselves :(
