Something is missing.

Maybe this has been asked before, but as I'm barely a year in this game I'm not keen on doing forum archeology:

 

I have ship commanders. I have ships. I have NO ship crews. Not on the bridge. Not on the deck. Not at the guns. My entire fleet consists of ghost ships. Well, that theme does fit my name and clan nicely, but it's not halloween every day here at WOWs, so why no crews? What are the lifeboats for, if not for the poor dudes getting blown overboard or abandoning their sinking ship,  trying to avoid CQB with the sharks who try to BBQ them? Please add crews. Outside of Russia, sailors can safely board naval vessels without being irradiated, suffocated or shipwrecked right at the pier. The game needs more human drama. The wails of its enraged players are not enough.

I read somewhere that crew is missing because of the game's content rating.  Adding crew would raise that. WG cannot allow that, since this a f2p game, and kids can play this too.

 

BTW, what i find funny, are the planes without pilots :)

The game offers loot boxes (gambling) and the option to spend money - that would concern me much more if I had failed to prevent my parenthood.

In an average WoWs battle more than 10,000 sailors would die. It would be a bloody spectacle if all these sailors would be seen maimed and dying on the decks. I for one am very much aware that my beloved historical ships fought some very bloody and lethal battles. I don't mind we are not seeing that in this game and we can play the illusion without visible gore.

Yet ingame lootboxes for money are promoted constantly. For me this is not about the letter of the law Pete, it's about game marketeers being kiddy predators. Their ideas and behavior disgust me. WG chose to merge the shop and game into one instead of keeping them seperate. So it is now 100% integrated into it.

Yeah, because having crew is much more inappropriate for kids than gambling with loot boxes.

That is not money. That is an ingame currency you got for free or an adult allowed you to buy it with real money.

 

I wonder if you think the same about toy companies selling overpriced action figures or food companies selling sugary stuff especially for children.

The world is full of marketing targeted at children.

You tried justifying wg's policy of implementing gambling by saying that children can't access it (even though they can)

I did not justify anything. For all I care they can remove the boxes from the shop permanently. I do not need them.
