Very bot friendly. Signed up for 2x Camo but am not seeing much incentives because we've seen this before and how it gets abused, and now it's more of the same.

 

Edit: looking back my favourite event of this type was https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/sales-and-events/the-fine-simmering-ducks/ where we had to choose a side to fight for. Added this extra dimension to spice things up.

 

These events only happen over one weekend, which is generally my busiest time, so despite WG's efforts this event is of no interest to me as there are no sufficient incentives to put in extra time. If some players want to play hundreds of battles over a weekend for the chance to win a Premium ship, more power to them. My time has more value, and since the escalating requirements of the PTS season and the amount of 'work' on the PTS required for one WG container I am very conscious of how much of my time is consumed by WOWS.

Typical for the 'news' part of warships : We get flooded by the same identical 'news' about getting new players, and when a contest are run, 'News' appear some 6 HOURS AFTER START.
Shame on you, who's responcible for this!

I appreciate the news article says there's not going to be a leader board for this event but is there anywhere we can at least see how many points we've earned? The event isn't even listed in the 'Combat Missions' section in game.

That thing about a random chance to obtain a premium ships every time we get 10 points?

Is accumulative?, I mean, all the chances together and later it makes a % with everyone?

Or is like, After the 6th time getting 10 points I get lucky and get a premium and Later I also can get another one?

Each time you earned 10 points, you get a lottery ticket.

In the end all lottery tickets, of all players who earned them, are used to draw the random winners of the rewards. So you can at best only earn a single ship.

Of course, bots exist, just like in any game, but we have measures to detect and remove them, especially from events like these. Players are welcome to grind COOP battles for this, but they receive fewer points as battles are quicker, and a bit easier than randoms (grants you more points). With these events, we try and make everyone happy - the competitive, grinders, and casual types. 

 

Even though I can't win as I'm staff, if it were me, I'd still aim to hit the 10 point mark, get the two camos, and enter in for the random draw. I love my Frenchies too much to hit the top 500 earners in this event :)

Unfortunately not, but we are looking to add this in for future events. I appreciate it is not ideal but we would rather run these fun giveaways with no leaderboard than not at all.

@Egoleter is correct. More times you score 10 points, higher your chance of winning.

You could do a sort of counter for the points that a player earns; it doesn't need to be a leaderboard, just something that shows you how many points you are on.

Based on my luck (or rather lack of it), from previous events, I don't expect anything other than a few cammo's, but I don't have the Arizona, so yeah, I'll try.

For average random battle duration, where you kinda want to pull out some results you can throw your ship two or three times in Coop so I'm not so sure about that.

 

And its not like Yoshino and the likes have any meaningful repair costs, with Yoshie being actually good at yolo gameplay with her torps being usually ready when you need them

I'm waiting for WG to start a rent to own program. You'll end up paying twice as much to get the ship in the end, too.

I like the idea of rental ships connected to the event like in Pearl Harbor.

Would be nice to have the option of extending the rental period by missions etc ... .

Screw this content WG , i happyli doed these missions and after i see my Arizona in port i on her the 24 hours countdown.

This is fake advertisement, the article said fight for Arizona not some useless rental ship, nowhere to found in the article that this was all for 1 day rental !!! 

 

Okay : i found on the bottom of the homepage the single day rental, but im not remembering that this was on the page in the morning, somebody corrected now after seeing the post not not?

Shame on you WG . I thinked this was some pre Christmas gift for us...................

I believe the compensation is for the prize ships, not the rentals.

 

Do you really expect a compensation in doubloons to be comparable to 1-day rental?
