So as Im learning cruisers and trying different ones out I thought I would try the Edin. Not played much UK stuff, I know not very patriotic of me! 

 

Anyway this is becoming so frequent now as to be very tiresome. I play my arse off and still LOSE. Game after game after game of total potato teams full of Maris Piper players. I'm sort of at the point or at least close to it where I'm done to be honest. Do we all experience this or does it just come in cycles and it's my turn for the spinner.

 

I honestly don't mind losing when my team interact with me and it's a good game but this is just so boreless..

Indeed. I do find it comes in cycles. Every so often I get a Week From Hell (c), when all of my non-division team mates are in the 40-48% range,  they do everything wrong (positioning, angling, target selection, ammo selection, you name it they **** it up). I mean we all get these teams all the time, but I do sometimes get whole periods where it's just those teams and nothing else with almost no exceptions.  It's incredibly frustrating, all I can say is take breaks when it happens. Prepare for really speshul matchmaking this christmas patch, btw...

I don't like to whine, but yes this is increasingly frequent. WG seems unconcerned though, which makes me think they are now milking this game for cash without concern for the long term viability of the game. Which is a pity, I really like the game but it's increasingly frustrating.

No I don't normally. This week and the back end of last week have been speshul in a bad way. Maybe I just need a rant. But on a serious note im not sure how much longer I would want to play a game that is actually starting to frustrate me. I play games to unwind and for fun not to get stressed out.. I don't have any other games that stress me out, only this one..

Yeah it happens. But in those situations it usually helps me to focus on performance and not on the actual winning. Although it does get frustrating when it takes a while before actually getting a win. Then I just take a break and try again later.

WG tries to push us into overplaying the game, don't fall for that trap and just play when you actually feel like it. It also helps your in game performance.

WG cant do anything about it! Problem is the new players and part of the old ones, they just refuse to learn basic stuff how to play, when and what to shoot or torp! They just are doing their own stuff in game and dont care if its the right thing to to at specific moment!
Recently i have seen a player with 2300 battles with 40% winrate and 22k average dmg, but he have 26 TX ships including Ohio and Colbert + all premuim ships aviable.... Which means A LOT of money invested to convert free xp, but WG cant fix the fact he is a f*cking bot!

I do tend to notice as well that roflstomps (where one side crushes another one, with battles ending in mere minutes) are more frequent nowadays than they were... a year ago or so. And it's not that you can carry those battles, as RNG says no to your dispersion in those battles.

No, my main complaint is that as there is very little differentiation in player skill level in MM win or lose is almost a chance thing

Dude, that's a unicum, our Gearing in ranked had 36k battles and 45% winrate.... Don't ask me how that battle went...

On another note, there will be days where you won't be able to win few matches even in a full and experienced division.

I dont get the point of the thread. The performance, as seen from the screenshot, is good enough but not amazing, not to justify a "how the [edited]did I manage to lose with a score like that!?".

Dont pile the blame on new people, or Steam players either or, indeed anybody that doesnt include LOTS of OLD players, including people from BETA.

42% 26000 game potato extraordinaire people in games... and even a 32% one with 20k games just yesterday....

Guy in a Lexington with 32% WR and PR of, get this, 46 over 34+ games in new lex and over 1000 games in old CVs.... average damage of 1600 and K/D 0.09, yes, 0.09, whose DD PR is 42 with 700+ games....with 7k games random.

These are not new players.

When you are losing >200k damage games it really starts to get frustrating.

Funnily enough, dealing 200k damage in a BB ends up in a win most of the time, while getting 200k in a Cruiser ive actually lost more often... feels bad man

Had this today. 20 or so games, 3 wins. I couldn't even get any wins on my tier 6 carrier today with which I normally have a 68% or so winrate. Infuriating. Also, almost every single freaking game had a CV today, and all the bad ones ended up on my team.

Yeah it's almost as if the MM was randomized huh? Who would have thunk it aye?

My point was that if every week is speshiul according to this or that poster, then by pure logic no week is speshiul as it becomes the norm.

To be honest I never paid much attention to ONIX's comings and goings (hardly played CWs for example) when I was there so take this with a grain of salt but I was told the guy that created the Clan went to another, more competitive Clan to play CWs shortly thereafter. Apparently there was some bad blood there and came back hurting maybe a year or so later asking everyone who had joined to leave the Clan, as he wanted to use ONIX for CWs with some friends. Pretty disgraceful behaviour if you ask me specially coming from someone who had done nothing to build the Clan other than creating it. I was expelled (along with everyone else AFAIK) and here I am, enjoying my solo career, as it should be.
